Meditation to cleanse oneself {Open}

[Rynn Kinfuji]

Rynn sat atop one of the higher peaks in the largest mountain range of the world. Snow swirled around which not one flake ever touched him. The ground where he was sitting was bare and a radiating heat could be felt within several feet surrounding Rynn. His zanpaktou laid across his legs as he had his eyes closed and was using his reiatsu to feel around him.

The taunting voice from within kept eating away at him taunting him to go out and find someone strong to fight. He always kept squelching the voice by telling it in his mind to keep quiet as his king needed to concentrate. He felt the occasional cold sting of the water hitting him and he lkept his eyes closed as a faint noise of his breathing was the only other noise other than the wind.

Remy was out again. Though instead of getting a nice warm weather place to check out the rumor of a new vizard, he got the mountains. I tell ya its true the VC gets all the shit details Remy thinks to himself as the wind whips around his clothes as he looks around for this person that's supposed to be here. That's when he finally sensed it, a small reaitsu signature to be sure, but Remy has dealt with those that can mask their signature before. Remy has a policy of his own that he follows. If it looks, sounds, acts, or feels suspicious; check it out It had saved him in the past so it was worth checking the small signature he found.

Remy floated over to where he had sensed the reaitsu to be coming from. When he had gotten close enough that's when he noticed the guy on top of the mountain, Remy was curious because, for one the guy was not really dressed for the cold, and 2 there was nobody else with him. As Remy got closer he noticed the sword on the mans lap. That's when Remy paused and decided to sit off a ways and study this new entity he found.

Continuing his meditation Rynn felt a slight twinge of reiatsu coming nearer. He followed it for several minutes until it stopped several yards away from him. The person was trying to hide themself in order to watch him. Normally it wouldve worked had Rynn not already been meditating before he had shown up. He felt out trying to figure out what the reiatsu belonged to. Well it didnt feel like a hollow so he could dismiss an arrancar, and it was more refined, honed to a keen point. The reiatsu had to belong to a shinigami as they where the only ones to hold there reiatsu with such tight control.

After a few minutes he opened his eyes and stood up. As he stood up his right hand grasped his zanpaktou and held onto it tightly to his right hip. He turned and looked directly to where the shinigami was hiding. Loudly able to hear above the whiping winds he said "Shinigami quit hiding its unbecoming of a shinigami... Unless that is how the Gotei Thirteen do there business these days?" As he spoke he glared in the direction of the reiatsu he had felt earlier.

hmm interesting the snow is melting as it hits him Remy thinks as he continues to make notes about this individual he found. That's when Remy got surprised slightly. With not much adu the young man Remy had been observing stood up and faced Remy.

Shinigami quit hiding its unbecoming of a shinigami... Unless that is how the Gotei Thirteen do there business these days?

With the wind whipping around and Remy masking his reaitsu signature; he didn't think he could be spotted so easily. Remy dropped down to where the young man stood having put his Gigai on. Remy faced the young man he had been observing. Remy sees tat Remy has becom lax in his age where a lowly human is able ta detect Remy. Remy said with a chuckle, his Bayou accent showing up thick. Please allow Remy here to introduce myself proper like. I'd be Remy LeBeau VC of 3rd division at thy humble service sir. I'sa see that youd be already acquainted wit ta Gotei Thirteen so I'sa shouldn't need to explain my role. Remy said with a slight bow and an offered hand. So, Who might you be mon amie?

Rynn stood and listened to the shinigami in gigai form. It was humorous to Rynn that the man went back into his gigai in order to communicate with him. Seeing as how the shinigami thought he was a human he would try to play this to his advantage. As he wouldnt want the word to get out that an independent vizard was living alone. The shinigami introduced himself as Remy Lebeau, the fukotaicho of the third division. :: Intelligence division eh? This should be interesting... I think it wont hurt anything to use my real name to this man. ::

"The names Rynn Kinfuji. A simple person of the mountains that can happen to see you shinigami and hollows." Rynn bowed slightly to seem more honorful. Rynn quickly thought of what to say to explain why it is that he knew all about the shinigami and of hollows. It hit him that his excuse would be the zanpaktou he carried.

"As for your other question its a rather easy explanation. I happened upon a shinigami several years ago who was injured. I helped them regain their strength and in exchange they answered me all the questions I had... Thankfully they told me almost everything I could ever know. Like about the military structure of the Gotei 13. Thanks to that information I know you would be the second strongest member of your division." As he spoke Rynn watched him closely. Hopefully there wouldnt be a random encounter with a hollow whilst they where talking.

Rynn Kinfuji, eh? It is an honor for a lowly man of the bayou to meet you. Remy told Rynn while his mind went into overdrive. hmm there was an incident several years ago where several shinigami had disappeared for a couple days, but when they returned I don't remember seeing a contact report with any body by this mans name..... Course they may have left out his name as thinking it to not be important. On the other hand though this may be the vizard that I was out here to find as well. But if it is the vizard why haven't I been attacked yet? Remy thinks to himself as he glances around.

So why sir do ya got a shinigami sword there? Remy asked the man after sitting down on the mountain. Remy was trying to gather more information on the man, while at the same time trying to not give away his mission objective here. It appeared that this may be a long day with what appeared to be two expert chess players trying to outmaneuver each other.

"Oh this old thing? This is a family heirloom I got from my father before his death. I keep it sharp and use it for protection while I am in the mountains." Rynn said quickly trying to dismiss the fact that he had a zanpaktou. IT was a reasonable story one that most people would understand as it wasnt uncommon for people to carry on legacy about weapons inside of families.

Yea right Rynn, almost got me there Remy thought as he heard Rynn's explanation of the sword. The craftsmanship was to fine to be normal for this world, but it was an explanation that could be plausible, after all Remy heard that in the country of Japan there were some excellent weapon smiths. Remy took the given explanation for the sword for now, at least till he had gathered up more information to present a different case.

The sun started to set so Remy figured He would see if this Rynn guy knew of some shelter around here, after all he may be able to keep warm normally but what about when it really started getting cold. So isa seein dat the sun be a settin, you gots some shelter in desa parts? Remy asked unknowingly letting his accent slip out.

Ryn listened to the accent of the man. It was a cajun accent so this man must've been from the country of America. He must be a rather young shinigami then. Then he listened to Remy ask if there was any shelter around to take off the edge of the upcoming evening. Rynn chuckled before saying "Yea there is a place close by. It is my small home. Only I live there so dont worry about running into anyone."

Rynn started to walk toward his home. The sword was girded to his waist as he walked he heard in his mind "Rynn be very careful... This man could turn you in to the Gotei if you arent careful." "Dont worry Kou... So long as a hollow doesnt show up and attack he wont find out that I am a vizard... Perhaps I will tell him I was a shinigami but perhaps only if i trust him enough." Rynn spoke to himself quietly so as that Remy couldnt hear him.

After a few minutes they approached a small house. The house was large enough to hold several people easily without much discomfort. As they reached the door Rynn waved his hand over the lock and the invisible shield he had dissapated just around the doorway. "Come on in Remy. Its not much but itll keep us warm for right now." As he talked he opened the door hoping that Remy would enter fast so they could get out of the cold so he wouldnt show that he wasnt affected by it.

Remy may have not been able to overhear the conversation, but, as with any sword spirit that talks, there is a slight increase in the ambient reaitsu in the area. Normally this slight increase isn't noticeable because when one is in an area with a lot of people, well it just isn't noticeable. One generally passes it off as another person entering the area; if its even noticed at all. Out here in the middle of nowhere with nobody around on the other hand? Remy noticed it as clear as day, but he decided to keep this information to himself for now.

"Come on in Remy. Its not much but itll keep us warm for right now."

Remy heard the man say as he held the door open for Remy. One other thing remy noticed was that the snow seemed to keep melting around this man Rynn, something else to file away for future reference. Once the two of them were inside, Remy turned to Rynn. Ya wouldn't hap'en ta have an' tea, would ya? Remy asked. Not that Remy needed anything to drink as a shinigami but, well, even shinigami got thirsty. With that being asked Remy spied a chair near a table and sat down.

After letting Remy in he closed the door and waved his hand over the doorknob. The shield went back up surrounding the house. Remy could leave but he couldnt get back in. He heard Remy ask if he had any tea Rynn said "Yes I have some tea its only green tea though. Its all I can drink around here." As Rynn spoke he grabbed a container of tea. He then pulled out a few glasses and filled a pot with water. He started the small wood stove in the corner and he placed the kettle on the stove.

"So Remy how are things inside of the Gotei 13 right now? Did the shinigami I helped return to his squad?" As he spoke Rynn had placed his sword on the small table where Remy was sitting. Rynn shivered slightly as the cold got to him as he wasnt near his zanpaktou. After a few minutes the kettle was whistleing so Rynn grabed it and poured out two glasses of tea. He placed one in front of Remy and then sat down on the opposite side of the table.

Interesting idea for the shield barrier, buddy Remy thought as he felt the reiatsu bloom. "Yes I have some tea its only green tea though. Its all I can drink around here." Remy heard Rynn say. Yes thank you green tea will be fine. Remy told him after discovering with his last statement that his accent was leaking out. Remy was trying very hard not to reveal to much, but figured that he'd continue with the accent now, since he'd already let it slip out.

"So Remy how are things inside of the Gotei 13 right now? Did the shinigami I helped return to his squad?" with listening to the statement Remy almost missed Rynn shivering. Almost. Oh hello, now aint that just a dead giveaway, Rynn buddy you more interest' den you let' on Remy thought as he decided how best to answer his question's.

Da shinigami made it back alright, but Isa don' rember see'n yer name on ther' contact report. Interestin' no? Remy studied him closely to see if his body language sadi anything during that part before continuing on. As fer de Gotei 13, most of dem Captains dinkin dat this new threat dat me an' my Cap'in repor' on, not as big a threat as we made 'em out ta be. Isa dinks dat he is but Isa aint got 'nough say ta be a chagin' their minds Remy told him. Remy wanted to see what he knew of Ender and to get a feel for if he would have another enemy when the fight finally came.

Rynn listened to REmy talk about how the shinigami had made it back alright. It had been true that he had helped a shinigami a few months back but he had hid his nature from him also. Rynn's body returned to normal as he grabbed his sword off the table and placed it on his lap. He finished his drink as Remy finished talking. The thoughts of what he could and should say next ran through his head. This was an interesting incident he was in. This man was very well versed in interrogation, and Rynn wasnt used to this.

Rynn stood up and walked over to the kettle to pour another cup when he heard a loud crashing noise outside the house. He looked outside to see a large centipede styled hollow crashing against the barrier. Rynn looked back at Remy and then back outside at the centipede. He pulled his sword out of its sheath and ran outside not thinking. He stood several paces away from the hollow. The hollow roared at him and charged. Rynn dodged the hollows attack and in one quick slice had cut the mask in half causing the hollow to disappear.

Remy had felt the reaitsu from the hollow several minutes earlier but hadn't said anything. He had wanted to see what Rynn here would do. After Remy had finished talking he had seen Rynn head over to get himself another cup of tea when the crash came from out side. As Rynn rushed out, Remy merely sipped at his tea some more. It wasn't Earl Grey but it was pretty good.

Remy followed the action out side through the window facing that direction. After the hollow was dispatched of he watched as Rynn walked back inside. Remy took another sip from his tea, before continuing, "Interestin fightn' style ya got ther'; poor hollow did' even see wha' hit em." Remy told him. Remy sipped some more from his tea, "Hmm dit stuff pretty good, whar' ya pick it up? oh and by da way, I dink you got some 'splanin ta do." Remy finished.

As Rynn walked back in he saw his 'friend' sitting there starign at him. Knowing he had been busted Rynn decided to come clean for the most part. He knew that leaving the Gotei 13 was a killable offense but hopefully he could use this to his advantage. Rynn set down the cup and turned to face Remy. "Well I guess it is time that I come clean with ya eh? Well first off my name is truthful. I am named Rynn Kinfuji. I am the former third seat of the second division. I disappeared several decades ago whilst on a mission and have been living here ever since."

As he spoke he knew that this would and could get him in trouble. But Remy seemed trustworthy.
