Shinigami Template
Basic Info
Name: Hajime, Heero
Age: 27
True Age: 600
Apparel:
Upon laying your eyes upon the teacher's figure, you will notice off the bat one accessory he seems to never take off. That accessory being an old leather eye patch. The eye patch itself is the common black color, but sewn together, with gold and crimson thread. The straps are hidden beneath his hair and tie in the back of the head. Some of his more 'creative' students would say that it is sewn into his face, but all of them are wrong. His face itself shows a rough look, something you would see from a farm boy, or a warrior. Locks of silver hair trail down his face until it reaches just above the base of the neck, and just over the eyes. Now you would think, hey thats not smart, when you are teaching a class, you wont be able to see a thing right? Wrong. The style that Heero uses in his hair is actually almost a strategy. Most kids would think the teacher cat see us so lets pass notes! Or whatever it is that is against academy policy. He uses that Hairstyle to weed out the trouble makers, by deliberately letting them try and get away with what they are doing, and then he would come and direct them out of class, after seeing what they were up to.
Watery Blue eyes grace the mans face, always portraying perfectly what he feels during his classes, which nearly all the time is a sense of complete and utter contentedness. Never closing and always wide, Heero relies on the eyes so he can take in what the world around him is like. To accent the usually happy light shown in his eyes, Heero is often caught with a radiant smile that seems to be able to lighten anyones day. heero is fair skinned, he has no tan even though he holds his classes outdoors. Being in top physical health, heerosbody build is muscular, but not body builder muscular. He has a well toned body, which makes him seem a bit more intimidating than normal. Often he uses this to his advantage when dealing with the 'tough guys' or 'macho men' in his classes. Back to his face, when and if he ever removed his eye patch, underneath is something rather shocking. A scar where his eye was, is what you will see. All you can see beneath the eye patch is scar tissue. His eye had been forcibly sewn shut after a casualty in a past battle when he was still within a Gotei division.
His attire, is actually not very reflective of his personality. Instead of wearing the traditional shinigami garb, he wears completely different clothing. In his trips to the modern world, (which are quite often) he buys formal attire from stores all through Karakura. Most often he buys neutral colored shirts which range from muted reds, to darker blues and greens, to blacks, grays and whites. These shirts are very formal, as they are the same kind of shirts that modern teachers wear. His ties are usually nothing special. Almost all would be black with the exception of a few colored ones, he wears on special occasions. His pants like his ties are black dress pants. His shoes are like the rest of his uniform. A Pair of black shoes, that are made of leather. But this is the attire he wears to the academy only. His attire that he wears out of the academy, like his other clothing is modern and well just different from anyone else in Seireitei. When not seen in the school, he is wearing a t-shirt with a pair of jeans. It's this attire that shows off his rather happy demeanor. Him being called an oddity isn't an understatement, as its extremely rare to see him even work in a shinigami uniform.
During his passing there are a few items he didn’t let go of, even when being konsoed. One of them was a pair of handcuffs that he had been restrained in when he was kept as a convict. The cuffs themselves haven't rusted one bit since he was konsoed. Another accessory that he wears all the time, which shows his pride when he was a military officer in the living world. Apart from his accessories, Heerocarries quite a few physical quirks with him. One being that since he was a military officer, he walks with a more confident aura even when surrounded with kids and students that seem like a hopeless cause. When seen in shinigami attire, it is usually a dire situation for soul society. His uniform is missing the sleeves of the Kimono top, but most everyone knows whom he was before leaving for the academy. His uniform is black but tattered on the pant legs. His obi is also black blending with his uniform.
In the many times he goes to the human world to well either shop, or research different teaching strategies, Heero's clothing is rather bright as well. Sporting a pair of white sneakers, and a pair of black cargo shorts. For shirts, well he leans toward the reds and oranges. Usually on the backs of his shirt show the symbol of a mask that is comparable to a hollow mask, making spiritually aware humans, that know of the shinigami, just who he is. Heero doesn't care if the spiritually aware humans know whom he is, after all they do fight along side each other more and more. Now though, Heero tends to carry his Zanpakutou more than usual, seeing as now there are constant threats of arrancar and many other enemies.
Personality:
Heero is explicitly a boisterous fellow, constantly aiming to help in any way he could possibly think of. More often than not, he vexes people with his almost robot likeness when it comes to lending a hand. You could compare this fellow to a dog almost, undyingly loyal, and would rather die than let his fellow superiors get hurt. Often showing every possible emotion on his face, the rather energetic and optimistic man known as Heero would first be thought of as immature, or irresponsible. In his true nature, he is almost like a fatherly figure, despite his apparent childishness. But within this mans mind is a bunch of facets to a personality that is much more complicated for others to understand. In many ways his childishness seems to be somewhat of a shield to prevent the more "unhappy" parts of life rule his mind. He is a deep thinker and is able to calculate a usually foolproof plan to defeat opponents. Because of this abnormal thinking capacity, he left his court guard squad in order to teach newcomers in the academy.
When you look upon his face, the emotions portrayed would paint a picture of what he’s attitude portrays. A face of light, and energy is what he brings with him, and his rather optimistic demeanor. Always accented by the trademark grin that always seems to have an ability to brighten anyone’s day. Along with his optimism, there is a tricky side that seems to love to pull off jokes in class and just make sure everyone enjoys what they are learning and knows it by heart. His train of thought is similar to the enlightened thoughts of John Locke. He believes that the spirits in Seireitei are Naturally good, but let themselves fall prey to the many temptations of life in Soul Society. His thoughts also reflect the fact that he is well respected in the field of education being that the students he teaches, seem to have higher rates of achieving their shikai within the first two years of graduation. Being a teacher, his methods of presenting the material needed to be learned are quite unorthodox. Instead pf your average textbook and paper lesson, he takes his students out into the world to see the thing in real life. To show them everything that a book cant.
Even with his rather odd way of teaching and his extreme exuberance, there are a few rare times where he buckles down and shows the kids just who is boss, and that he is not there to be their best friend. But to teach them and get them through the course he teaches. The course that he runs is a kendo and swordsmanship class. Heero has a love for the art of the sword and it shows in the way he teaches. Pride, though he doesn't have much, he does show pride in his work, and he shown the contentedness he has with being a teacher of the newest shinigami arrivals. Despite his main course that he teaches being kendo and swordsmanship, he does run a kidou class for people that he picks out to have potential for going into the kidou corps or getting a higher seat in the fifth, and training them. You could call this class his Advanced placement class that he seems to lighten up in. In general though, he shows and equal liking to the classes he teaches and doesn't favor one over another, being that he knows exactly what it is like to have someone liked more than you.
But behind all of the exuberance, there is someone in pain, someone that is hidden and will be kept hidden. That person in pain is the true Heero. Even after being konsoed, the spirit remembers his human life and the pain of knowing what happened over and over. Seeing it replay in his head leads him into times of depression. During these times He takes a leave of absence from his classes, knowing full well that his depression leads him to be angry with himself, but he takes it out upon others. And whence he does this, he often feels a large amount of guilt. Guilt is a feeling that Well Heero does not cope well with either. When dealing with this emotion it depends on whom he hurt. If it was a student, he most often would write a letter apologizing to the student for unjust and immature acts. Whilst if he hurt a colleague, he would go out of his way to make sure that got that day off, and he would make sure he had no work for that day. When he works himself like this, well, he becomes stressed and goes to train. With Heero these emotions are like a vicious circle, and it would never end.
Heero Has Many personality strengths, one being the way he treats those deemed as enemies. When faced in a stare down with an enemy, he does not act offensively unless it is an absolutely necessary to act out. He will Usually try to either talk to the enemy and convince her or she to leave the area because even if they were an arrancar, he does not deem them bad unless they have attacked. If one enemy were to attack him first, Heero becomes extremely serious and will do everything within his power to destroy or drive away the enemy with the least amount of blood possible. When and if the enemy deems to fight to the death then Heero will do all in his power to fulfill that wish and fight until the enemy was destroyed. But, If the enemy retreats when they are talked to, then Heero treats them with a little more respect if he were to run into them ever again.
For His superiors within Seireitei, such as the nobility, and the Sou-taichou, Heero becomes almost the exact opposite of his flamboyant, and exuberant self that he displays in his classrooms. When he is called to a meeting with those above him he becomes extremely serious, knowing full well that he was called there e because something bad was going on and his home was in a dire need for help. He treats all those above with the utmost respect and seriousness. Along with those below him he listens intently and will not speak a word of objection or suggestion until the very end. Now most would call that a respectful thing, but for him he is thinking and calculating a plan of attack, defense, or both to help keep his home free from harm. It is shown rather easily Heero has no problem with dying for his home. His Heart and soul literally belong to his home and so he would do anything even if that means dying to keep his home and friends and family safe.
A person that is never one to dwell on things, Heero looks to the future. He sees the future as a beckon of hope, telling him to carry on and hold strong despite his internal weaknesses, he thinks of the future as that light at the end of the tunnel that he is nearing ever closer to. All in all, Heero is a man of many words that enjoys his job as a teacher and as a person though having problems dealing with certain memories, is all around congenial and kind to his students colleagues and friends.
Zanpakutou
Zanpakutou Name: Misami
Zanpakutou Apparel:
Within its sealed state, Masami is shown to be one of the most intricate, and beautiful Zanpakutou. Starting with the basic blade shape, this Zanpakutous shape could be classified into the Shinogi Zurkuri. The blade is a brilliant silver color, stretching almost five feet in length Masami's blade is well something to be reckoned with. When taking a closer look, and inspecting the blade in a more in depth way, You would note the intricate designs and engravings. The engravings themselves were actually crafted by Heero himself. They represent the tranquility or the ferociousness that the wind can hold within a few gusts. These engravings are in a more Celtic design base than the traditional designs from Japan. They extend just above the cross guard to he tip of the blade and some how are better viewed when the blade actually draws blood from the opponent, seeing as the blood would flow through the spaces between the engravings. The blade itself is rather thin in width only stretching an inch and one half.
From the blade your eyes would now rest upon the guard of the blade which shines brightly, in the color of a burnished gold. Its in the shape of a rectangle stretching about two inches away from the center of the blade. From the guard, there is a sapphire blue fastener that Keeps the sword together and in one piece. Now resting your eyes upon the hilt of Masami, you will see just the beauty of the blade. How the design flows artistically and just physically. The hilt is a bright turquoise accented by swirls of the same burnished gold metal, extending from the base of the fastener, and all the way up the hilt. Swirling like the wind. Just with one look, you could say that this blade is just one of the most beautiful even in its sealed state. You would think that a blade such as this would belong to a female shinigami, just with all the ribbons and accessories that are attached to the hilt. One such accessory is a sapphire blue ribbon that he tied there. It was from his time in life. It was one of the objects he clung to whilst being konsoed.
From the blade, you will look to the sheathe. One of the things you can instantly notice about that sheathe is that half of the sheathe is painted the same color as the hilt, and the other half is left to show the light brown that a wooden sheathe would show. The top half is painted the bright turquoise, accented by bands of the gold metal all the way down. On the painted side the same gold metal wind like accents, show brilliantly. Shining as if they were new. Heero doesn't actually wear his Zanpakutou in fact he stores the sword in a wrapping of dark blue silk and he carries it with him as if it were a small bag. But those whom know Heero know what is concealed. But when the Zanpakutou is worn by Heero, he doesn't tuck it away in his obi like most would. He wears it slung loosely on his back in full view of everyone. After all what’s the use in hiding a weapon when you're fighting, when you know weapons are to be expected?
Zanpakutou Spirit: Masami Takes the form of a beautiful but powerful female. She is cruel at times, but this is only to help make Heero stronger. Most of the time though She is very shy and removed giving heero hints and tips on things but never actually coming straight out and saying what she means.
Zanpakutou Inner World: Heeros inner world is a Dark snowy night . With a lake off to the side. Misami can usually be found by the lake staring deep into and occasionally moving her fingers through the glassy water.
Shikai
Call Out Phrase: Guide me Masami (Glow, Divine Beauty)
Shikai Apparel:
Upon the sayings of the words, Kirameki Masami the beautiful blue Zanpakutou begins to transform into its primary stage, its shikai stage. The more noticeable thing is that the engravings have disappeared from the length of the Shinogi Zukuri blade. The metal of the blade has elongated itself to a length roughly about five feet. The width of the blade has extended to a two and one half inch width. The Blade itself is now double edged and the flat of the sword or where you can rest your hand for extra support when fighting is located along the long wide edge of the sword. The material itself has been transformed, Instead of being the silvery metal it used to be, Now the blade is clear, made of pure quartz crystal. The Hilt of the blade turns to a deep ruby red color and the sapphire ribbon melts away leaving an iridescent gold tip on the hilt; which is accented by many gold rings. The hilt is longer and whence you reach the guard, it is now flat with small sharp edges.
Shikai Abilities: The base of the blade was carved to look layered. There are seemingly three layers to the blade and each layer has a finely shaped edge that could slice through anything That is an Unfortified Material. The clear blade when catching the light of the sun of the moon seems to glow with a divine light. As if the blade was blessed by the gods themselves. The aura is actually composed of his reiatsu and the light of what ever celestial body shines upon it. Within this state the blades cutting capacity of the blade increases by quite a bit. Not having any definite abilities that have names, one of Masami's most vexing ability is that if you look within the particles of the blade. Similar to the Sele Schieder of the Quincy, Masami's particles are vibrating to create a mass amount of heat. When An Opponent is touched by the Blade their skin would first feel a searing pain, caused by the heat of the blades particles vibrating. The Blade really isn't meant to cause a huge amount of destructive force in its wake. Its power is reserved and balanced. Another effect the blade has is that because of the vibrating particles the sword acts like a saw and is able to cut through most anything, such as flesh or bone. The sword is almost like something used to punish and not kill.
If By any chance He has to, Heero can make the particles within his blade stop vibrating and disperse into the air. The particles themselves if viewed under a microscope, you would see they are jagged and are at a size where you can breathe them in, and actually embed themselves in your lungs. This is similar to the effect Volcanic Ash has on the human body. But That’s the power given to the Shikai in Natural terms, the reiatsu based effect is that it slowly drains reiatsu from the opponent once inside the body. In doing this Heero does not gain any of the reiatsu absorbed, and when the ash exits the body, it is released into the air in a gradual manner. But, Heero rarely resorts to using such an inhumane technique, being that it goes against his very morals. But when it is activated this technique proves fatal to those whom do not know how to combat something like that. An example of an opponent Heero would use a technique such as this on would be a high level arrancar such as an espada. There are loopholes to the technique, one being that there is only as much as there is sword, so there would be a wait time if Heero decided to reset the blade into its sealed state. Another Loophole is the fact that it can drain only a certain amount of reiatsu. That amount being exactly One half of the whole reiatsu within a foes body.
Bankai
Call Out Phrase: Kirameki Masami
Bankai Apparel: When Masami takes the appearance of Bankai you would think light, you would think something like an angel would appear. But no, His bankai is a signal of grave danger, of something where he must resort to a bankai to get himself out of a fight. When the bankai is used, well people should know right then and there this is a life and death situation. Using Kidou in combination with his bankai is deadly but, not as deadly as the bankai alone. When the bankai is summoned you will see a drastic change, the blade instead of being a silvery color with a divine light emanating from it, instead it takes the form of a sword the color darker than the blackest onyx, but with the deadly beauty of any prowling hunting animal. In Bankai Like shikai this sword is a mere extension of Heero's arm. When Looking at the blade you will see a few things other than the drastic color change you will see it now resembles a European sword rather than a Japanese katana, and the fact that its not single edged, its a double edged sword. Looking from the Blade towards the guard, or lack of... You would see a silvery metal that was "welded" onto the blade, and within that silver piece of metal are carvings, carvings of what’s to come from this mans true power.
That was merely the first phase of bankai used in Heero's arsenal, and unlike his shikai, the particles that make up his sword are not vibrating, meaning that the sword is solid, but what it lacks in the sawing action that the shikai does, it makes up for in scaring the hell out of any enemy. In the secondary form of the Bankai something happens that is rather not normal. Heero will run his hand down the blade lightly cutting his hand to draw blood and murmur the release for his bankai once more, before the sword melts... or so it seems. After the sword melts it reforms into beings, two beings at that. They both being twin snakes. Click They both are as black as night, the way you can tell them apart is by the way their eyes glow. One Snake is identified as the violent being having bright amber eyes and runes on its back that glow amber. The Other being a more strategic and stealthy attacker taking on green eyes and green glowing runes on its back. The Snakes in appearance if a man were six feet tall, the snake would tower over them by three feet. At first glance yeah, the defenses of the snakes look absolutely impenetrable because not only do their scales come in handy but the fact that heero often weaves Kidou around them that deflects most sword based attacks. But if you look closely when the snakes open their mouths there’s a lot of soft flesh and sensitive tissue in that area, which means yeah, run at the snakes when their mouths are open and slash their mouths to bloody bits and pieces. But watch out for the fangs, because they could be dangerous. But Between the two snakes the yellow one attacks more often, trying to poison its victim while the green lays back in the shadows only attacking when needed.
Bankai Abilities:
While in Bankai there is only one kind of ability aside from melee combos Heero can use in this state. When his true bankai is released in the form of the twin snakes, yeah the snakes can crush you, or eat you or do something of that sort. But the main ability is what is inside the snakes. Within the fangs of one is a poison that slowly depletes an opponents reiatsu, and they usually don't realize it before its to late. The only way to combat the poison you ask? Is to get bit by the green eyed snake which carries the antidote. The Poison Takes noticeable effects( They feel sick and sluggish and to become paralyzed) within 3-4 hours (if the battle even lasted that long) if a user doesn't use any reiatsu based attacks ( Kidou, cero etc) if they do they will drain the reiatsu faster than the poison would. But the poison would act a reiatsu depleter boost. Which would force an opponent to use more reiatsu for a small attack like a Kidou or bala. The poison doesn't necessarily drain the reiatsu it is more or less the person using attacks they shouldn't be and the poison making him expend more reiatsu than it should take.
