Veluc Relosh
Age: 27 and looks it
Appearance:
Personality: Veluc is very forceful and straightforward. He never hesitates to speak his mind, even when it is not his place to. He is very observent to his surroundings and quick to calculate and make decisions. However, his decisions are not always the best course of action. He has a great sense of pride and will not back down from a challenge. He is not however a hot head as many other aspects would indicate, he would just as soon negotiate as fight, but he takes any insult or jab very personally. He also stands up for his brother, and will gladly start a fight to protect him whether in he is there or just on principal. Fiercly loyal Veluc makes friends and enemies rather easily depending on how people cross him. Confident almost to the point of arrogance is Veluc and he puts great stores in himself, but part of that confidence stems from having his brother around as well.
Clan Rank: Veluc is a warrior monk. He does not carry a weapon but rather relies on martial arts and his abilities to fight. However, his abilitites are supposed to be more defensive but as can be seen from his personality he does not always see it that way. The flip side of his rank is that he is charitable offering aid in anyway he can, be it protection, service, money, or anything else that can be thought of.
Animal Race: Phoenix.
Traits: The red patch of Veluc's hair is caused by his animal, and in his ponytail are yellow trailers that are indicative of the phoenix in him. underneath his coat are small red wings that stay folded and hidden until Veluc's beast comes out and they grow. His eyes are a golden color, and he has amazing sight given to him from his beast.
Weaknesses: Heat, or high amounts/temperatures make the phoenix rise. Anger, Scared, death(seeing large amounts)
Powers: Obviously having an inner phoenix beast means Veluc can manipulate fire. He can control fire to form it in his fists and form small fire balls of about 150 degrees celcius.
Martial Arts: Seeing as its his job, Veluc is a master of Jujitsu, kickboxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Wushu, and Lo Cuy Fo.
Healing: Since Phoenixes are immortal part of their cycle is passed on to Veluc, while not immortal he can heal faster than most, and some small/minor injuries might heal instantaniously.
Extra strengh and speed: Being that a phoenix beast is rare and mythical in nature Veluc's speed and strength are reved up to 1.5x that of most Zamaichi clan members of equivilant level
Stages: 1) Veluc loses his jacket and his wings grow to about 3 feet in each direction. he appears to have red fluff on his chest and his nails are longer pointed like claws. Additional powers are a speed increase, a flame wall/shield, and general increase to above powers except strength.
2) Wings grow so they can support flight. Veluc's hair turns completely red and appears to have feathers in it. Hands turn to talons, and feathers are on arms and legs. forearm and shin feathers are hard as steel. All attributes increase, as well as phoenix song is now usable. Phoenix song disorients the enemy for 2 seconds.
3) Final stage Veluc loses control of his beast at this point. His wings are now 10 feet in each direction. His hands and feet are talons and his whole body is covered in blood red feathers. His eyes blaze and glow gold and his hair is a mane of black(having shifted back to that color from previous stages. His face looks contorted as if a beak is trying to protrude out. Veluc can breath fire, and manipulate it in almost anyway defensive or offensive at this point. The phoenix is a proud and judgmental character and will turn on anyone it feels mocks him. His attributes double from the last increase in power.
After effects: The deeper into his stages he goes the more rest Veluc needs. The final stage needs a full 24 hours of a coma like sleep to recover from. The other two require rest as well depending on the length in the other two stages. Nothing will wake Veluc during recovery. His body curls up in this sleep like the fetal position.
Control: Veluc has an almost complete control of his beast, but given its proud and strong nature, the above weaknesses can still bring him out, and he becomes more restless with each stage. However, since his father was a phoenix he helped veluc control his beast.

Shishi also has what looks like a white fur belt around his waist.
Personality: Shishi is more quiet and reserved than Veluc. He thinks things through and often tries to find the least violent way to accomplish things. He will however fight, but finds it very hard to kill and often cannot finish fights. He sees the good in all people and will believe in them until they absolutely show their corrupt or evil side. As such he is sometimes gulible, but his brother is there to keep him in check. He will back his brother up, and is much less tolerable of people whom belittle his brother. He wears his heart on his sleeve and often is the emotional source for himself and his brother. Shishi takes after his animal in some characteristics as well. He is crafty and inventive, can blend in with some surroundings with ease, and can be dangerous when provoked.
Class Rank: Healing Sword. As the job denotes Shishi is a healer of sorts, or more correctly he is a battlefield medic. Trained in the art of healing he is skillful quick and excels at treatment as well as defensive measures. However, he has been trained to use his sword and when necessary can go on the offensive.
Animal Race: Snow Fox
Traits: Though not easily visible through his blond hair Shishi has white fox ears, and white streaks in his hair. His eyes are more shaped like foxes and are the dark brown/black like a foxes as well. He wraps his tail around his waist to look like a belt. Though not visible Shishi also has a keen sense of smell. His hands are a little small and he has what looks like pads at the base of each finger. Also his fingers curve towards the end slightly and look somewhat like what a paw would if it had five toes. Also, his body tempurature is maintained at a higher temprature than most so cold weather does not bother him.
Weaknesses: Feelings of Entrapment, his brother is injured, blood (large amounts), smell of fresh fish
Powers: Stealth, Shishi can move noiselessly when he wants to.
Speed and Cunning. Shishi is blessed with incredible speed and thinking capabilities well beyond that of a normal human. His speed is equal to a VC level shinigami in his normal state. His thought process is like photographic memory except like its a camera.
Healing: Part animal part job he is gifted healer and can heal almost any wound, but not his own.

Stage1) Shishi's hair turns to snow white and lenghens to his mid back. His tail unfurls from around his waist. His hands have longer sharper nails, and his teeth sharpen. Speed is increased as well as thought processing. Shishi now has a few offensive maneuvers at his disposal. Ice blockade, sheets of ice can be thrown up to block attacks. Padfoot, wherever Shishi's feet touch turn to ice, making it harder for opponents to maneuver and stand.
Stage 2) Hair grows to lower back. Teeth elongate and sharpen more. Whiskers grow face elongates outward. Muscles in the legs and arms shift and form so that Shishi run on fours, or stand with ease and comfort. Pads cover hands and feet. Speed, sight, thought processing, and power increase dramatically. Shishi has a very hard time controlling his beast and can lose control here sometimes. Offensive attack available. Snare: energy put out by Shishi to provoke an attack, energy feels weak and wounded, but while doing this a small ice patch forms on ground. When opponent nears it spreads freezing feet in place.
Stage 3) Shishi morphs into a full on super sized snow fox. He has no control and has never gone this far into transformation, so noone knows what happens. The fox side of him tends to want to run, his mind looks for exits, or at least somewhere to set up an ambush.
After Effects: Are similar to his brother's but not as severe. He is weary, exhausted, and often feels nausas and hungry at the same time, a sickening feeling. He does not always sleep but is tired non the less.
Control: Definitely not as advanced as his brother's. Fortunately his beast is not as wild as Veluc's. He has a harder time surpressing his beast when something takes its interest, and as such he can be seen talking to himself (or so it seems) to calm his beast, but sometimes that is not enough.
History: The Relosh twins were born in the small secluded village in the forest. Their parents were popular and considered well to do. Their father was embodied with the soul of a phoenix, and as such his first born son he decided would also be a phoenix. Much to his surprise and excitement his wife was due to have twins. But, this arose questions....who would inherit the phoenix? In truth the decision was made when the children were born. Shishi came out a mere 2 minutes before his brother Veluc, and his father had decided Shishi would get the spirit. However, Veluc had a small red patch of hair and their father took this as a sign and so imparted the phoenix beast to Veluc. The twin's mother, who had the spirit of a falcon, was much more level headed and as their father was picking another proud and ferocious beast for his other son, she interuppted on her son's behalf, making the statement that since Veluc was indowed with a proud firey beast, he would need someone to balance him, some able to calm and counter him. And so it was decided that Shishi would gain the snow fox beast. And thus that is how Veluc and Shishi Relosh came into the world and began life.
Now as far as twins go these two were, as they would later become known because of their abilities Fire and Ice. Veluc was the always the standout the pride of his father, his abilitites and comprehension of his beast were standout. Shishi was the quieter more calm semi-loner. He could just as easily meld with a crowd as well as sit by himself and meditate. Despite their differences they were inseperable when not training or some other necessary duty that kept them apart. Of course they had brotherly fights and conflicts, but nothing could break their bond of brotherhood. While Veluc trained with his father to control his phoenix, Shishi quietly and modestly became adept at controlling his snow fox as well. While the difference was noticable in the two brothers, both were praised for their abilities.
Now their father was a warrior of the clan, a strong proud man who had protected his family and his village since finding his job. This man was a delighted to have two sons who where so gifted, however he wanted them both to follow in his footsteps.
This man pushed his sons to be the best they could be and could be overbearing on them. On the flip side their mother was very gentle and caring, always telling the boys to follow their hearts and to always be gentle, kind and show benevolence and mercy to everyone they came in contact with. Veluc obviously took more to his father's teaching but never forgot what his mother had taught him.
Now the boys led fairly normal Yami clan lives, training and playing, and racing towards the day when they would come of age and have to integrate into the clan. Since the Yami's were small they all had jobs, specialized and general in nature. Now both boys had their strengths and weaknesses, Veluc strong and proud, his sense of justice unparalleled. Shishi calm and calculating, his healing second to none. They truly were a mirrored pair, opposites.
As the boys approached their 15th birthday, the time would come to choose their jobs and continue to train in their selected courses. However, a rift seemed to be developing in them. They realized they wanted different jobs, and would thus be apart. This saddened them greatly as they had never been apart more than was absolutely necessary before. For the first time in years, the boys felt insecure and unsure of themselves as brothers. Fights broke out frequently between them, and they became increasingly bitter. Each desperatly wanted the other to follow their path, and each felt they were right. This decision almost tore them apart, destroying something that had not yet been created. But, as what always seems the case, their mother intervened. Recognizing the rift forming in her boys she quietly sat them down and had them explain their situations to each her. After thoughtful contemplation she gently and delicately explained that it was part of growing up. She told them that their roads were destined to be intertwined forever, they were brothers after all. Her talk helped the boys cope with the future better, but each silently mourned the passing of their era together, but remained stoic and composed around each other.
Finally the time came when all that was left was the choosing of their jobs in the clan. Veluc chose the profession of the warrior monk, a job that would take him on the path of the warrior but keep him closer to his brother, while Shishi took the job of the healing sword, a battlefield medic. In the end both brothers compromised so that they could stay together.
Years passed and the boys grew to men filling out and completing their training. As they reunited they reminisced about their childhood, which seemed so long ago now. The twins were now twenty and had just begun the most important part of their young lives. After completing their training the boys caught the wandering bug. They left together from the village striking out to find out more about the world.
What followed was eye opening to the twins as they stretched their legs. their animal attributes drew strange eyes and made some quick enemies in the world of the living. More than once the twins were forced to vacat a town or inn. However, they also saw the benevolence of people. The farmer whom they stayed with for a year, whose crops they tended and whose hay they stacked and baled. The man who treated them like their son, fed them, clothed them, and understood their ways and didnt ask questions. It had been a sad day to see the man die. He was an epiphany for them, a beacon for the world.
Then there was the town of GuangShulin, set on the outskirts of a immense forest. GuangShulin had been a bustling immense town that opened its gates to all kinds of travelers. By this point the twins were 24 and this would be their last adventure before returning home. By this time Veluc and Shishi had taken some precautionary measures to to hide their animal characteristics. Arriving in the town like many other travellers they easily blended in and found a quiet little inn where they could rest and relax. The inn was called The Flowing Tap, and a large sign over the door showed a large draft tap flowing into a never filling mug. The twins went in bought a modest room for a couple of nights. While there they quickly made friends with the establishment taking care to tip well. Also, while in the city the boys did some charity work, handing out money, aiding the sick and wounded. They would disguise they their aid as bandaging, but made sure they did enough to make sure the person got better.
The boys enjoyed themselve, drank had fun, made friends and generally lived life to the fullest potential while in this town. That was until the hollow attack. Now this was not the first time Veluc and Shishi had encountered hollow, infact they often ran across them several times. However, this time was different. The attack came at night, as the merry making was in full swing. The twins were knocking drinks back when they felt the presence of the hollow. It was enormous, its reiatsu intense and pressing around them. The twins felt it and quickly excused themselves, making their way outside. What followed was an incredible intense and showstopping fight. The night sky lit up with the fire from Veluc's attacks and the moon shone brightly off of Shishi as he created Ice around the hollow. In the end veluc had had to release his stage 2 form to defeat the hollow and fell collapsing onto a coma. As the noise erupted the patrons stumbled outside and saw the twins for what they were. In shock some ran screaming others cursed and contemplated attack. Yet surprising were several patrons and the staff of the Flowing Tap helped Shishi carry his brother to bed. Once he woke they outfitted them with food and supplies and smuggled them out of town. The next night the Flowing Tap was burned to the ground. The twins never knew this as they returned home.
Upon returning home the twins found life different. For one their beloved father had died. War had broken out in the world, and everyone with supernatural powers was being drawn in. Ender was on the move, forming an army. Their father and several other warriors had gone out as an advanced assault on Ender's army. Unfortunately he was killed in battle. The twins wept for days upon hearing the news. Their life was shattered, broken in half. What now? What would happen? Then it happened one day Veluc simply turned to his brother and said "We must fight".

The day was cloudy, overcast and rain was immenent. The wind blew lightly taking some of the early autumn leaves off of the trees and having them float to the ground. The sun attempted to peak through the clouds but they were too thick. A single ray of light broke through here and there. The sound of a single set of footsteps was heard crunching the dirt as he moved down the road. Veluc Relosh strode confidently down the road his pack strapped firmly to his back as he strode down the road. His long black hair flowed in the wind slightly and the shock of red on front made his hair pop. His broad shoulders filled out his jacked quite well. He was impatient making irratic strides as he hopped and moved quickly. Beside him was his blond haired brother moving without a sound. He was moving easily calmly, almost the exact opposite of his brother.

Shishi trailed off as his white fox ears perked up sticking out of his head a little more so they could be noticed. Grabbing his brother by the arm he stopped him tilting his head Shishi listened intently as he stood immobile.
Two, no three men coming opposite us, they are carrying weapons, possibly hostile.
As Shishi finishes his statement the three men walk around the corner. They see the animal features of the two men before them and instantly think demon. They draw their weapon and charge forward.
Let me handle this one brother I need some exercise.

However he'd forgotten the second man who now had the drop on Veluc. He turned to see the sword flying towards him. Veluc's eyes widened then.

Shishi stood there his sword drawn blocking the man's attack. Pushing him backwards Shishi punched him in the face knocking him out. Shishi quickly moved from man to man putting some money in their purses. He stood as he finished and moved towards his brother.

Now the boys led fairly normal Yami clan lives, training and playing, and racing towards the day when they would come of age and have to integrate into the clan. Since the Yami's were small they all had jobs, specialized and general in nature. Now both boys had their strengths and weaknesses, Veluc strong and proud, his sense of justice unparalleled. Shishi calm and calculating, his healing second to none. They truly were a mirrored pair, opposites.
As the boys approached their 15th birthday, the time would come to choose their jobs and continue to train in their selected courses. However, a rift seemed to be developing in them. They realized they wanted different jobs, and would thus be apart. This saddened them greatly as they had never been apart more than was absolutely necessary before. For the first time in years, the boys felt insecure and unsure of themselves as brothers. Fights broke out frequently between them, and they became increasingly bitter. Each desperatly wanted the other to follow their path, and each felt they were right. This decision almost tore them apart, destroying something that had not yet been created. But, as what always seems the case, their mother intervened. Recognizing the rift forming in her boys she quietly sat them down and had them explain their situations to each her. After thoughtful contemplation she gently and delicately explained that it was part of growing up. She told them that their roads were destined to be intertwined forever, they were brothers after all. Her talk helped the boys cope with the future better, but each silently mourned the passing of their era together, but remained stoic and composed around each other.
Finally the time came when all that was left was the choosing of their jobs in the clan. Veluc chose the profession of the warrior monk, a job that would take him on the path of the warrior but keep him closer to his brother, while Shishi took the job of the healing sword, a battlefield medic. In the end both brothers compromised so that they could stay together.
Years passed and the boys grew to men filling out and completing their training. As they reunited they reminisced about their childhood, which seemed so long ago now. The twins were now twenty and had just begun the most important part of their young lives. After completing their training the boys caught the wandering bug. They left together from the village striking out to find out more about the world.
What followed was eye opening to the twins as they stretched their legs. their animal attributes drew strange eyes and made some quick enemies in the world of the living. More than once the twins were forced to vacat a town or inn. However, they also saw the benevolence of people. The farmer whom they stayed with for a year, whose crops they tended and whose hay they stacked and baled. The man who treated them like their son, fed them, clothed them, and understood their ways and didnt ask questions. It had been a sad day to see the man die. He was an epiphany for them, a beacon for the world.
Then there was the town of GuangShulin, set on the outskirts of a immense forest. GuangShulin had been a bustling immense town that opened its gates to all kinds of travelers. By this point the twins were 24 and this would be their last adventure before returning home. By this time Veluc and Shishi had taken some precautionary measures to to hide their animal characteristics. Arriving in the town like many other travellers they easily blended in and found a quiet little inn where they could rest and relax. The inn was called The Flowing Tap, and a large sign over the door showed a large draft tap flowing into a never filling mug. The twins went in bought a modest room for a couple of nights. While there they quickly made friends with the establishment taking care to tip well. Also, while in the city the boys did some charity work, handing out money, aiding the sick and wounded. They would disguise they their aid as bandaging, but made sure they did enough to make sure the person got better.
The boys enjoyed themselve, drank had fun, made friends and generally lived life to the fullest potential while in this town. That was until the hollow attack. Now this was not the first time Veluc and Shishi had encountered hollow, infact they often ran across them several times. However, this time was different. The attack came at night, as the merry making was in full swing. The twins were knocking drinks back when they felt the presence of the hollow. It was enormous, its reiatsu intense and pressing around them. The twins felt it and quickly excused themselves, making their way outside. What followed was an incredible intense and showstopping fight. The night sky lit up with the fire from Veluc's attacks and the moon shone brightly off of Shishi as he created Ice around the hollow. In the end veluc had had to release his stage 2 form to defeat the hollow and fell collapsing onto a coma. As the noise erupted the patrons stumbled outside and saw the twins for what they were. In shock some ran screaming others cursed and contemplated attack. Yet surprising were several patrons and the staff of the Flowing Tap helped Shishi carry his brother to bed. Once he woke they outfitted them with food and supplies and smuggled them out of town. The next night the Flowing Tap was burned to the ground. The twins never knew this as they returned home.
Upon returning home the twins found life different. For one their beloved father had died. War had broken out in the world, and everyone with supernatural powers was being drawn in. Ender was on the move, forming an army. Their father and several other warriors had gone out as an advanced assault on Ender's army. Unfortunately he was killed in battle. The twins wept for days upon hearing the news. Their life was shattered, broken in half. What now? What would happen? Then it happened one day Veluc simply turned to his brother and said "We must fight".

The day was cloudy, overcast and rain was immenent. The wind blew lightly taking some of the early autumn leaves off of the trees and having them float to the ground. The sun attempted to peak through the clouds but they were too thick. A single ray of light broke through here and there. The sound of a single set of footsteps was heard crunching the dirt as he moved down the road. Veluc Relosh strode confidently down the road his pack strapped firmly to his back as he strode down the road. His long black hair flowed in the wind slightly and the shock of red on front made his hair pop. His broad shoulders filled out his jacked quite well. He was impatient making irratic strides as he hopped and moved quickly. Beside him was his blond haired brother moving without a sound. He was moving easily calmly, almost the exact opposite of his brother.
Oh brother brother brother, this is OUR time,we are going to change the tide of battle and avenge our faher
Veluc why are you so excited? Surely you have to think of all the implications we are only two people, we can help but we wont change verything ourselves. I just want to find out who killed father.....
Shishi trailed off as his white fox ears perked up sticking out of his head a little more so they could be noticed. Grabbing his brother by the arm he stopped him tilting his head Shishi listened intently as he stood immobile.
Two, no three men coming opposite us, they are carrying weapons, possibly hostile.
As Shishi finishes his statement the three men walk around the corner. They see the animal features of the two men before them and instantly think demon. They draw their weapon and charge forward.
Let me handle this one brother I need some exercise.
Veluc stretched his neck then ran forward leaving his brother standing there. Shishi stood with his arms crossed in annoyance.
Veluc met the first man head on striking out his right leg he quickly grabbed the man's sword arm then simultaniously threw and disarmed the man. Dropping the sword he saw the other two men move forward together. Ducking the first attack he punched one man in the gut then turned to face his other opponent. Quickly spinning again Veluc wound up behind his opponent, tapping him on hte shoulder he played with him for a second before incapacitating him. However he'd forgotten the second man who now had the drop on Veluc. He turned to see the sword flying towards him. Veluc's eyes widened then.
*Clang*
Shishi stood there his sword drawn blocking the man's attack. Pushing him backwards Shishi punched him in the face knocking him out. Shishi quickly moved from man to man putting some money in their purses. He stood as he finished and moved towards his brother.
You were sloppy Veluc, he could have had you....
Nah, I knew you would help me out bro. I just wanted you to get some exercise too.
Veluc smiled widely at his brother as he innocently looked around as if he'd done it on purpose. Shishi breathed in exaperation. However they picked up their packs and continued on their opponents still strewn across the ground.
