True Form: Sparda was a human sized demon, with cloven hooves, a semi-reptilian hide, a pair of sweeping horns, two pairs of insectoid wings and one pair of chiropteran/bat wings. His entire body appears to be made of grey armor with accents and overtones of tyrian purple, and features ornamental decorations, such as gold trim along his "crown," a vertical red gem in his forehead, as well as gold knee and elbow guards

Background: Sparda was once one of Mundus's loyal demons, but at some point he suffered a change of heart and switched sides, fighting to protect the humans. He defeated Mundus's demon armies, before moving onto the Prince Of Darkness himself. Sparda defeated Mundus, and sent him and his armies back to the demon realm. In order to close the gateway, Sparda used his own blood, along with the blood of a human priestess, in conjunction with his sword and a mystical amulet. He poured his demonic energy into his beloved sword to close the door between realms, however this also robbed him of the lion's share of his abilities. Sparda's activities over the next two thousand years are shrouded in legend, however it is understood that for a time, after defeating Mundus, he ruled over the humans before eventually vanishing but now has returned for an unknown purpose
Personality:is incredibly flippant, mouthing off to to the most powerful of demons, and he generally enjoys rubbing people the wrong way sparda can seem at times to be uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly. He can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he is makes cynical quips but at the same time sparda is calm, cool, and collected

Powers: possesses power that surpasses that of most demons. He has enough physical strength to punch through stone with little difficulty, and often overpowers demons much larger than himself and is extremely agile, able to jump to great heights or even to balance on a flying rocket. He is able to channel his power into various physical objects, ranging from his guns to the air itself, and exhibits mastery of any weapon he picks up. has been shown to survive wounds that would kill a normal human, such as being impaled through the chest with his own sword or being shot point-blank in the head. However, this ability can be worn down with continuing damage. is shown to be the most competent with wielding Yamato, striking so fast that the opponent does not realize they have been slain until he sheathes his weapon.
