Would you like to walk with me in the forest?

Deep in the lushious forest and behind a shrine held a village full of people that are one with animals. There coming out were two girls with wolf like ears and tails. One was older then the other and wore kimonos. A hand-made weaven basket was hanging off the older ones arm. The younger one stood next to her older sister looking at the trees and listening to all kinds of wildlife in there. "Come on now Aruruu, we need to get back to the village by nightfall!" The older sister said to the younger one who was walking at a slower pace to look at the plants.

Eruruu placed her hands on her hips and sighed. 'Why does she always do this?' She though while watching her sister catch up with her. "Come on, Yukiko-sama would get worried if we stay here too long.." She said sternly to Aruruu. Aruruu's ears fell down to her head and looked down and spoke in a quiet voice. "I'm sorry, onee-chan.." Eruruu looked down at her and patted her head without a word before walking faster with her sister trying to catch up.

The area had been extremely hot during the day, but the villagers rarely felt it. Even though the forest floor, had been extremely sheltered, and it cooled it down, the woods had been extremely thick, so thick that the sun couldn’t even reach through. Although at night it had cooled down. Having all the creatures give into the night, the only creatures that would last through, would be creatures of darkness. The area had been cold now that the sun had gone down, and darkness seemed to devour whatever was left of the light. The area suddenly went quiet, as if every animal heard something, but then they started up again.

Emerald eyes, had peered through the darkness. The unknowingly, had been wondering around. Where had she been? Soft foot steps had been heard, and the woman who was walking, had sand colored skin, wearing a snow white outfit, with red through out it, as if some one had dripped blood within the snow, her soft hair, had been pulled up, and on each leg had been resting a fan. She closed her eyes, several tails trailing behind her, her arms swaying. The sleeves had been long, so they appeared as white wings, through out the darkness. She had known she was in the human world, she hadn’t known where though.

She felt her ears twitch, and it would appear she had a look of annoyance on her face, as her emerald eyes shifted to the left then the right.

The girls sat on the forest floor. The basket filled with plants that were herbs for healing medicines. Aruruu looked above "Onee-chan it's getting a little too dark..." Aruruu said to her older sister as she looked around. She have not remembered this place before while searching with her sister. "Your right..." Eruruu said as she slowly got up and picking up the basket that was now filled with herbs for healing, cooking, and other things.

After a while of getting up and walking they began to notice it was noticably darker. "Onee-chan... i'm scared.." Aruruu said while clentching the silky fabric of her older sisters kimono. Eruruu hugged her frightend sister and tried to calm her down. "Shh.. it's ok, well be ok now.." She said as she heard an owl hoot. Both of them jumped. Their ears were now high up and they were both alerted. They began to hear soft footsteps. Eruruu gulped in fear of what it was while Aruruu whimpers and hides her face in the fabric of the kimono.
