Shoken had been put in charge of taking a new member of the 2nd Squad under her wing. She remembered being called into the 2nd squads area to be told about it and then noticing the short and quite timid looking male who was the one she had to watch over.
Shoken sighed as she walked along, remembering how she got into this, the young male was plodding along well behind her, like he was scared or something. Shoken then made up her mind, to try and get some form of conversation from this mute of a guy. Shoken made sure she lightened her expression before glancing over her shoulder to the boy. ''Well now...you sure will have a good time in this squad! its the best there is'' she said with a small smile, but it only gained a nod from the boy. Shoken let her bright expression fade. This was going to be harder than she thought. ''Hmmm...' she began, there must be a good reason for him beign put in her division, perhaps he was an expert at hand to hand combat?
She decided to see this for herself ''Hey kid...hows about we pass time with some trainning?'' she asked the boy, and yet again only got a nod from him. ''I am losing my mind...say something'' she thought, she should of said it to him, but she didnt. She remebered her first day, but she spoke to other shinigami at least.
