The cool breeze feel across the grass plain as one lonely person just sat there staring up into the night sky, meteoroids past every so often. The trees rocked back and forth against the breeze, there was a feeling of, comfort in the air as the person stood up, measuring about 5'11 feet tall. As he got all the way up he shook his head back and forth and then peered around, his eyes saw everything, the hollow that was about a mile away, the rabbit that was hopping around just to the right of him. His breath was cool and calm, his eyes were a dark brown and his black hair fell to his shoulders. Blowing in the breeze he turned around to see a hollow coming straight at him. Its speed was intense, you could tell it knew how to kill, it had killed many of its own kind, and this mans.

This was a bit odd in a way though, a sword lay next to the man but he didn't pick it up. He awaited the thing, one hand out almost in a come on pose and the other was behind him. A soft ring could be heard from the sword that was next to him. Almost like it wanted to help him kill this hollow.

Inhaling deeply he then stepped to the side slightly and then using his elbow he then hit the thing right in the face making it fly back about 100 feet and straight into a tree, as it collapsed. Sho was his name, a man that noone yet knew, but would soon find out who he was. His speed was quick as he appeared in front of the hollow in a flash. Sword in hand and already drawn as it bore right into the hollow's skin.

It was a cold, uneventful night for Zin Yuudeshi. The nighttime sky gave him no pleasure since he rarely saw beauty in astrology. The forest around him was simply a bore since he preferred to be in a heavily populated urban area in a city; And the quietness in the area freaked Zin out to an extent because it always gave him a feeling that some type of scary being would appear from nowhere and kill him. So, why the hell would a person like Zin be caught dead in a place like this? It's simple. He was put up to a dare by his older brother. Shadin, the older sibling, dared Zin to seek out and destroy 100 hollows or defeat another person in combat by the end of 3 days. If he did, Zin would receive a mysterious prize form Shadin. And being very curious to as to what this prize might be, Zin accepted the dare.

Thus, it brings us back to the bored Zin sitting alone in the quiet forest upon a cliff over looking the lower half of the woodland. "Sometimes, I hate my brother...." Muttered Zin in an annoyed tone to himself while scanning the area for hollow's with a device that looked similar to cellphone. "So far I've only been able to kill about 50 hollows, ugh. I must suck at this or something. Or maybe the hollows are just too worn out from the war. Aye, who knows..."


BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP


Then, all of a sudden, Zin's hollow tracking device went off; Which Interrupted Zin's constant muttering to himself. "Woah! There is a hollow in the area. I better go kill it so Shadin can take score." Spoke Zin in a more eager tone then before. Quickly, he reached into his right pocket, ate a small piece of soul candy and was transferred into his shinigami body while his gigai took over his human body. "Stay here while I go to take care of this hollow, Pakon." Said Zin to his Gigai, unsheathing his Zanpukto and flash stepping towards the area where he believed the hollow was.

Unfortunately, though, by the time Zin got there the hollow was already destroyed by a mysterious man.

"Awwww shit!" Groaned Zin, irritated by the fact that this person killed the hollow before he could get his hands on it. With a small growl, Zin glared at the man and shouted; "Why did you kill that hollow!? You bastard! I was going to do that UGH! Thanks to you I'm gonna lose this damned bet!" With his frustration at the boiling point, Zin pointed his Zanpukto at the unknown person and had a burst of white reitsu shoot up from all around his body. "I'm going to make you pay for that! I may not kill you, but you're going to wish you were dead after this, ASSHOLE!"

And with those words spoken, Zin flew towards the strange shinigami, lifted his sword in the air and prepared to cut the man on his right shoulder blade.

The battle was on rather this peaceful loving shinigami wanted it or not.

An ominous feeling fell down Sho's spine, it wasn't a good feeling, he was in a bit of distress for a couple of seconds as he turned around and felt something. It was someone else that was there on this cold fall night. Breathing heavily, his cold breath was visible thanks to the cool night. His hand on the hilt of his sword ready for anything. He never liked fighting, his sword never liked claiming someones blood, but tonight apprently he was going to have to. Someone was coming at him and didn't really care for him to much.

Zin was already upon him, Sho quickly turned as he felt a reaitsu that was to the right of him, turning quickly and then looking at him, he had sent a white reaitsu straight at him.

"Great, Aika, your gonna have to help me with this one." He said with a hint of annoyance. "Nake."

A great ring came from the sword as it turned a violent red Zin came at him quite quickly. Sho was allowed to much time to react though as his body flicked out of view as he flash stepped toward the right dodging the reaitsu that came at him and then Zin came at him as well.

"Bellow Loudly, Mika."

A giant sound came from his blade as reaitsu started to gather into the blade, swinging toward Zin a blast of sound came from the blade that would tear Zin's body apart.

"Tch, speed won't get you out of this one you prick! Just give up so I can win this damned bet already! You're making this process a lot more diffcult for me then it has to be. I have to win this bet, SHIT!"Shouted Zin at Sho, growling slightly when he slipped out of view via flash step. Swiftly, Zin turned around towards his opponent's direction; Prepared to attack at any moment thanks to his previous training with Shadin Yuudeshi, Haruko Yuudesh, Kisuke Urahara and Captain Tsubine Zarkonheinz. "I don't know what you just did with you're Zanpukto, but it seems like you activated Shikai. Heh, so that means I'm gonna have to step it up and go into my own shikai form as well!"

After taking in a couple of deep breaths to get his body ready to transform, Zin pointed his Zanpukto out at whatever was heading towards him and uttered these powerful words that would take him to the next level...

"Awaken from you're deep slumber, Great Fire Goddess Nometsu!"

BOOOOOM

And with that, an explosion of white flames was scattered all throughout the battlefield. While on the inside of this blaze, a surge of more powerful fire shielded Zin from getting injured by Sho's special attack. But, this did not protect him from the furious sound that engulfed everything around him. "GAH!"Shouted Zin in pain, flying out that burning inferno with a strange new Zanpukto covered in white fire.

"Heh, you're going to pay for that one, jerk." Said Zin in a quiet, angry tone. Grinning slightly as he grabbed the right side of his head. "MAN, I have one hell of a migraine because of you!"Tightening the grip he had on his hilt, Zin swung his fire engulfed blade towards his foe, forcing it with his sheer will to split in half, forcing the other half to transforms into a large spinning shurken. "Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh" Chuckled Zin with confidence. What Sho didn't know is that when this shurken would made impact, the surrounding 5 blades on it would come after him; each equipped with heat seeking abilities. 'I gotta thank Kisuke for that one. If it wasn't for him, I would not have known that I could manipulate my Shikai through my sword.' Thought Zin to himself in stride.

Indeed, his Shikai was a special one. Once it is activated, his sword turns into a seemly infinite source of flames that he can turn into various types of weapons, spawn different objects/more flames from, change it's size, shape, look and everything else in between with his will. He can do almost anything with this dangerous Zanpukto.

It would be a deadly mistake to underestimate him.

His pace quickened as he had launched his attack at Zin, pushing off the ground with one foot he launched himself in the air as Zin came out of the smoke and fire with a new sword. This was starting to get interesting of course, Sho was basically treating this like a spar, he wouldnt' kill Zin, but he would try. It was a little bit weird to explain. He would attack with killing intent and try and make the blows a death blow, but he wouldn't kill him.

"Hey your the one who attack me first, i just killed a hollow cause it attacked me." He stated. "Aria"

A Sound shield came all around him, spiraling around him as the fire had come toward him, the spiraling shuriken. The sound barrier was amazing, you could almost not even see it except for seeing the air around Sho all distorted from the sound that was being emitted.

"Duet, Death Incarnate."

Duet meant that two things would be playing at once, and once that happend there was almost something, a sound that was so horrible that you would scream in agony, or not depending on your sheer will power. This along with the shield around him, he was ready for Zin.

"No, JACKASS, I was talking about that attack you just did. Heh, well at least it revealed to me what type of Zanpukto you might have. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm willing to be you're Zanpukto revolves around sound in someway. Either way, I'll figure out the secrets to you're Zanpukto during this fight." Spoke Zin towards Sho in an angry tone of speaking. Then, once he witnessed the spiraling sound shield that Sho activated around himself, Zin knew what kind of battle he was in for. 'Awwww man, it's gonna be one of hell of a battle. It's tough as bat shit to defeat a sound Zanpukto. Eh, it doesn't matter. I'll find a way around it...somehow....' Thought Zin to himself in agony, while at the same time he tried to conjure up a plan that would defeat this Zanpukto.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWL

Was all Zin could hear. A violent, loud, frightening howling sound. A sound that brought him back to the times when his older brother, Shadin, would transform into a destructive demon form and destroy all in his path. It was truly an ominous feeling to behold for such a young shinigami.

And, for a spilt few seconds, Zin's body was completely frozen in fear. Terrified that whatever this menacing sound was would tear his body in two.

But then, at that split second, he remembered one of Kisuke Urahara's teachings.

'There is nothing but fear reflected in your sword. When you dodge, you're afraid of getting killed. When you attack, you're afraid of killing someone. Even when you try to protect someone, you're afraid of letting them die. Yes, your sword speaks to me only of absurd fear. What's necessary in a fight isn't fear. Nothing can be born of that. When you dodge, "I won't let them cut me." If you protect someone, "I won't let them die." If you attack, "I will kill them." Well, can't you see the resolve to kill you in my sword?'

'No...my resolve is stronger then that. I'm not gonna let some stupid sound trick my body into being nothing more then a frightened child. I'm stronger then that, my will is better then that! I will not back down from this fight! MY RESOLVE WILL TEAR THROUGH HIS ZANPUKTO!' Yelled Zin to himself inside his mind, finding the inner power to overcome Sho's Duet, Death Incarnate thanks to his previous training under Kisuke Urahara.

With complete control over his Zanpukto, Zin let out a loud yell as his reitsu flared up; letting out a superior screech that overpowered the once horrifying sounds all around him. "Your tricks won't work on me! My resolve is stronger then that!I've been taught to overcome these childish tricks! You can't defeat me like this!"Shouted Zin at the top of his lungs, gathering up a large amount of reitsu from within his flaming blade.

"TAKE THIS! FIRE FALL BLAZE!"

With those words uttered out of his his mouth, Zin flash stepped higher up into the sky and swung his Zanpukto down at Sho; Sending an immense, blazing white wall of flames down at him. At the moment this mighty wave of fire makes contact with any living being it will automatically take shape into a sphere-like shape and explode within a radius of 1,000 feet. Meanwhile, the person trapped inside the inferno would slashed and burned all over from the flames.

It seemed like all Zin's past training was finally paying off for him in combat.

The fire was hot and intense but seemed like the hot air mixed with the cold air around them started to make the wind blow ever so slightly. Placing his feet hard against the ground, his sound shield spiraling around him, kicking against the ground, dust flying everywhere. Smirking a little bit, raising his hand up toward his face.

"Think your resolve is better then mine? We shall see about that." He shouted toward the heavens.

A red reaitsu flew around his body and then a mask appeared in his hands, his eyes changed to a dark yellow the shear pressure changed, the song that was playing was more violent now, like thousands of screaming people dying, it was horrible. He seemed to fire like a gun as he approached the oncoming reaitsu. Swinging his sword swiftly in front of him as a more precise sound came out, like the sound wave that he attacked Zin with but it was more focused.

"Bellow, Mika."

Smoke appeared everywhere as a body with a mask came out of the smoke.




Sho was a great vizard, he had been one of the first of his kind along with Shinji and everyone else, but he didn't want to be with the group of them.

Flying at Zin with great speed he raised his sword and then threw it straight at Zin, he wasn't known for his swordsmanship but he was known for something else, hand to hand combat. Flash stepping in front of Zin and ducking down as the sword came at Zin, he then spun around on his hand as he went to kick Zin's Feet out from under him.

Zin was completely surprised when Sho was able to cancel out his attack with sound. 'How the hell did he stop that attack? It was one of my more powerful attacks. Maybe this guy is stronger then I once fought, but I gotta keep my resolve high! No matter how bad this looks, I gotta' keep fighting!' Not knowing what else to do when Sho transformed and the frightening screams came back, Zin's Zanpukto screamed at him to transform into bankai.

"Well...looks like I've got no choice. I've been training with it for the past 6 months, but now I'll actually get to test it out in battle. Heh, I can't believe I'm really gonna go through with this. Boy, Shadin and Kisuke will be proud when they see this..." Spoke Zin to himself, chuckling a bit at the end.

"BAN-KAI"

And in a flash of bright white light, Zin had transformed into his bankai form. His sword was no longer there, as instead a large circle of white flames appeared around Zin's feet as a pair of fiery white wings formed on his back. "HEH!" Without any delay, Zin formed two swords from the circle of fire below him. "You're not gonna beat me with that!" Chuckled Zin, using his flames to burn Sho's foot.

Meanwhile, his wings detected the incoming sword heading towards him and placed a moderate sized fire barrier behind him that would hopefully stop the sword from piercing Zin. Alarmed by this, Zin quickly Flash stepped higher in the air and snickered.

"You're gonna have to try harder then that, Vizard!"

Seeing Zin go right into Bankai, Sho pushed off the air, using reaitsu as he went back, grabbing his sword in the air he did a flip and landed on one knee as part of his pants and his shoe had been burnt off slightly. Sho didn't really mind the pants or shoes being burnt off, but he knew what he had to do, going full on Bankai was the only way to deal with this at all. Smirking a little bit he then placed his sword upside down as he tossed it in the air, it slightly floated in front of him.

Zin made a circle with his hands and then looked toward his Sword Aika.

"Cresendo, Aika."

His sword started to spin around violently and then emit a high pitched squeal.

"BAN-KAI!"

A sonic boom was emitted from the blade and himself, in all directions as some of the tree's leaves were cut in half. The sword stopped suddenly, his eyes were now a violent red while in Bankai and Vizard Form. He grasped his sword that was hanging upside down and then held it upright and made a swift movement with his sword as a fang of sonic sound came flying out of it as it cut a tree to the right of him.

"This is the first time Aika has tried this hard, better make this worth it." He muttered. "Duet, Bellow of Death's Incarnate!" He shouted.

Swinging his sword toward Zin there was a sonic pressure that went straight at Zin, and the pressure would hurt him if he didn't do anything about it, but also it let out the song known as Death's Incarnate, having deathly wails of Banshee's coming from the fang that was going straight at Zin. Raising his hand up in the air, a mixture of sound and Cero was being created, but this sound seemed more peaceful, it felt good as it surrounded his hand.

"First Song, Cero!"

The thing fired as the sound changed that was surrounding the cero, making the sound more violent and deathly.

"This is turning into one hell of a fight!" Shouted Zin with a bit of excitement in his voice. You could almost sense the adrenaline rush surging throughout his body. "Man, now I can see why the others love fighting so much. It's such a fucking rush when you're in a life or death situation, while at the same time you feel like you could crush the entire world with your power! This is an amazing feeling, Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!"

When the sonic boom roared throughout the area after Sho released his bankai, Zin's circle of fire automatically flared up and shielded Zin from any physical injuries. As soon as the threat was over, the fire lowered and went back towards Zin's feet. This was a truly quick thinking, resourceful bankai.

"Damn, another one of those sound attacks. This is getting fucking old!" Said Zin, getting irritated with this type of attack. "Oh well, I have a plan to shield my ears!" Using only his sheer will, Zin had two very small sphere's of fire go into each of ears. Once inside, they put up a strong barrier around his eardrums so that he would not lose any of his hearing during this fight. A truly ingenious move. Maybe Zin was smarter then he thought.

After he shielded his ears, the circle of fire under Zin's feet rose again, but this time they formed a stronger barrier with hole in the middle. "Heh, so I'm suppose to fire an attack? Fine. I'll use one of my kido." Taking a deep breath, Zin quickly gathered enough reitsu to hopefully cancel out the cero and nothing more. He had to think first on his fight, the critical blows would come later.

"Way of destruction Hadō 58, Tenran!!!" Promptly after saying that, a widening tornado-like blast flew out of the small hole in Zin's barrier and was fired towards the speeding cero. "And just to add a little measure..." In a hurry, Zin gatehred more of his reitsu and prepared for another Hado based attack. "Way of destruction Hadō Number 4, Byakurai!" Without delay, Zin fired a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from his right index finger. Hopefully, these two Hado spells would be enough to destroy the cero.

"Tch, now it's time to think of another plan!" And with that, Zin flash stepped 1,000 feet away from Sho and hid within a very tall tree covered with leafs. "I still need to preserve my reitsu a bit, but I needed to get out of that situation, phew..."

He was certainly thinking on his feet in this fight.

Laughing a little bit Sho pointed his hand palm facing toward Zin's barrier.

"This is getting very interesting" He paused "Sprinkled on the bones of a beast! Pointy tower, red crystal, steel cartwheels. Move and make wind. Stop and make calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hadou #63 – Raikouhou" He shouted as a blast from his hand came soaring straight at Zin's barrier.

Sho then disappeared, his flash steps left behind many after images as he then appeared at point blank range right in front of Zin's barrier and smiled into the while, pointing his finger straight at the hole as the Hadou #63 came from above.

"Hadou #4: Byakurai"

A white lightning bolt came from the tip of Sho's finger as he then jumped backward as he appeared about 30 feet away.

"Allegro"

His speed quickened immensely, jumped back he then held his sword to his side and then watched to see what Zin would do. Sho's hair danced violently, the wind was picking up and a rain cloud seemed to start forming above them.

Zin had expected Sho to target and attack him swiftly right after he had evaded his first attack. So, to keep up with Sho, Zin had created six clones of himself covered in white flames inside his barrier. Each of these beings were meant to serve a purpose. Two were going to take each of Sho's attack, two were going to hide for Zin to use later and two were going to stay with Zin to fight with Sho. "Heh, so you really think you got me, eh vizard? I'm not as stupid as you think I am!" Shouted Zin from within his barrier, sending each of his clones out to be destroy in a spectacular blaze of glory.

Meanwhile, while the flash of light covered the battle area, two of his clones went flying out of his barrier to seek out a hiding place as hopefully Sho would be distracted by this explosion. 'You two, run as fast as you can. If he is somehow able to discover the both of you and he attacks, avoid each of his attacks with your very life. You two are vital to me in this battle. If you are able to find a hiding place, I want you two to stay there and gather as much reitsu until I give you the command to come out again.' Spoke Zin telepathically to his clones.

'Hopefully I know what the fuck I'm doing.'

Finally, after about ten seconds, the dust from the blast had at last settled and Zin was seen standing beside two of his fire clones with the circle of flames spinning wildly; Signaling that Zin's reitsu steadily raising or that he was about to make an offensive attack."Not bad, not bad at all."Said Zin to Sho with a smirk on his face, letting out a small chuckle afterward. "I'm really having fun with this battle of ours. This is the first time anyone has pushed me pass my limits."As Zin kept talking, he kept building up reitsu and pulled out a new flaming katana. "Now I don't care who wins, heh, as long as we both have fun that's all that matters, right? Hard to believe all this happened due to a mere dare from my older brother. Ha-ha-ha-ha."

'Now. Attack.'

All of a sudden, the two flaming clones of himself that were once standing beside him had disappeared and reemerged beside Sho. At the snap of Zin's fingers, each of their hands and legs were used as long, fiery chains that attached themselves to all four of Sho's limbs and was connected to the ground. Hopefully, this would keep his foe in place. "Now, I'm going to try a highly powerful Kido on you. It's going to be a first for me, but I wanna try Tessai-San's attack out."

Taking a deep breath, Zin pointed his hand upward towards Sho's direction. "Way of destruction Hadō 88, Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!" Once the Kido was activated, Zin fired a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy that would result in an truly enormous explosion if a direct hit was made. "Woah!"Was all Zin could say after he made his attack. The blast was so powerful it sent Zin flying backwards into the sky, but he later regained his balance and began panting. While at the same time, his two clones were seen taking flight up into the air.

"Enjoy this, prick."Pointing his hand down towards Sho, Zin had 100 mini flaming shurken come soaring out of his circle of flames; And just like the shurken blade he attacked Sho with earlier, when these each of these shurkens explode, the surrounding 5 blades on them would come after him; each equipped with heat seeking abilities.

"Now to hide again..." And with that Zin and the two clones following him disappeared into a deeper part of the forest.

Watching as the two of the clones that Zin had created, he blinked a few times before two firey chains had connected his hands to the ground, what was weird is that the chains were chains, they could bend. Using reaitsu though to make sure the chains didn't burn him in the slightest bit.

Sho laughed a little bit, what Zin didn't notice is that they were still both in the air, so all Sho had to do was one simple thing.

Taking the reaitsu that he was using to float in the air he then fell down and landed on the ground, with sword in hand. Making swift movements he had sound waves come from his sword, cutting the chains off at the source, the ground.

"Yeah, this is all just for a little bit of fun, huh?" Chuckiling a bit.

Reaching over he simply unwrapped one chain and then the other from his hands and then smiled up at Zin as the shuriken started to come straight at Sho.

"This again? Can't you find something else other then this.?" He questioned.

Seeing this thing once before he had an idea of how to get out of this.

"Bakudo #81 Danku."

A rectangular energy wall came right in front of Sho, blocking every single one of the 100 tiny shurikens. Sho blinked a little bit as the wall then fell as all of the things had been blocked by the wall.

Sho then looked straight at Zin and then smiled a little bit, what's funny is that being able to use sound he could do echolocation, either way if something was brought up, smoke or anything else, echolocation could be used to see what someone is doing behind the smoke.

Sho sent two sharp sound waves going directly at the two that were hiding behind the trees. Smiling all the while, not moving from his spot.

Astonished by the events that had just happened, Zin stood upon the highest tree in the forest and looked back down at opponent in frustration. He wondered how his foe was able to evade most of his offensive attacks, virtually coming out unscathed from the assault. "Arrogant jerk!" Grumbled Zin in irritation as he flash stepped to another tree five hundred more feet away from Sho, having each of his clone stay right where they were. "I'll give him something to smile about." Soon each of his hands began to emit a bright white glow due to Zin transferring all of the reitsu in his body to these two body parts.

After a few seconds past, Zin was ready for his next assault. And boy, this one was gonna be a dozy.

Wasting no time, Zin flash stepped high above the sky and pointed each of his arms out toward Sho. "So you want to see me do something else, eh? FINE! EAT THIS!"Before he made his new attack, Zin signaled for each of his hidden clones to find a new location to hide in and for the each of the clones standing by him to stand back.

When Zin was ready he began shooting thousands of very explosive fireballs that were covered in white flames down at Sho at an incredible rate. Soon almost the entire forest was shaking from this attack and large carter began to form where Zin was attacking Sho. This was surely one hell of an attack. He put nearly all of his reitsu into it.

As soon as a minute had passed, Zin stopped the assault and was seen panting heavily from using so much power. It would take awhile for him to bounce back from this, that's for sure. But hopefully this attack was successful and made some type of impact upon Sho. If not, Zin would have to recalculate his plans for this battle even further. Maybe even accept defeat if his Bankai doesn't hold up long enough.
