Name: [/u] Tsubine Zeruel Zanifir von Zarkonheinz III
Gender: Male
Personality
As a Human: Tsubine is a bit charismatic. He is known not to be of a low social class, but rather he is known to associate himself with the Close Districts. He can be dense at times, but he also can be sly and cunning. Tsubine is not afraid to draw his blade against an enemy, no matter who it is. Also, he is not afraid to die.
As a Man: Tsubine is known to drink a bottle of vodka in a few hours, and barely have a buzz. His reasons for drinking is unknown. He's actually a gentleman and will attack men he deems "scum". The "scum" are the drunk guys who hit on girls and won't leave them alone. However, you'll almost never see Tsubine at a bar, but rather the few galas the Close Districts have.
As a Captain:Tsubine holds his subordinates to a high standard. By that, I mean that he holds the ones he deems worthy enough to be his subordinates to a high standard. He'll take them out drinking or on patrols he's ordered to do. The others...he's like a drill sergeant to them. He has a strict routine for them. In Human terminology, they are treated like "New Marines on Paris Island". Tsubine has been known to slam his "insubordinates" into walls to get them to "man the hell up". For the insubordinates he has some respect for, he will allow them the "honor" of doing his paperwork for him.
Appearance
Tsubine is 6'1, 175 lbs, and an athletic build. He has dark black hair and dark blue eyes. He normally hides his eyes behind a pair of dark square-rimmed sunglasses.
Zanpakutô Spirit
Tsubine's Zanpakutou spirit takes the form of a man in similar garb to Tsubine. He has very light blue hair and purple eyes. He goes by the name "Thead". He is normally cold, callous, and antisocial. He does however enjoy the practice of using people to his advantage. He is quite intelligent as well.
The inner world of Tsubine's Spirit is quite...different than that of other Spirits. Instead of some barren wasteland, some sideways city, it is a rendition of "Crazy Stairs", except much larger.
Sealed Zanpakutou: It is carried on his left side
Shikai Name: It's name is "Jigoku Henzuru Tsurugi". It roughly means "Changing Sword of Hell"
Shikai Description: Upon release, the sword's blade turns into a dark black and the hilt cloth turns into a dark crimson color. The hilt-guard also changes into a more "demonic" form.
The ability of this sword is quite unique. It can "shapeshift" into different forms. There is a set limit to the number of forms. All of them are normally a dark color.
Release Phrase: The release command of Tsubine's Zanpakutou is "Reform Yourself"
Shikai Abilities:
Neca Eos Omnes (Kill Them All): This form is the first form Tsubine learned. It is in the shape of a gothic battleaxe. .It is also the most developed of the forms. It technically has two "subforms", but they just change the appearance of the axe. When it hits an object, whether it be human or non-human, it creates a large vertical shockwave.
Mors Omnibus (Death to all): This form is Tsubine's only sword form in his Shikai other than the standard form. It is also the only form that will not create a shockwave.
Omnibus Locis fit Caedes (Let there be Slaughter): This is a form that Tsubine learned while training with Kaien Shiba. It is presumably his manifestation of Nejibana. It can create lightning bolts that are black from the tip. Tsubine has also learned a technique that allows him to spinning "wheel" of lightning that goes in a straight line.
Bankai Name: The new name is "Joukai Henjiru Tsurugi" It roughly means "Changing Sword of Heaven"
Bankai Description:
The sword's hilt-guard and handle return to a normal shape. The blade now has a dim white glow.
Tsubine's outfit is changed into a white-on-gold version of his original outfit.
Bankai Abilities:
Too big, click
Terras Irradient "Illuminate the World": This is the most powerful form in his bankai. It is a Zweihänder with many intricate designs on it. It is the only sword in his Bankai to have a shockwave attack. This form takes all of the shockwave attacks from the shikai and makes them visible and more powerful. The attacks now glow white.
Inveniam Viam "I shall find a way or make one": This is his only form that he rarely uses. It is mainly designed to be a crushing type, but he rarely uses it due to him preferring to stab rather than to slice.
Tuebor (I Will Protect): This is his most commonly used Bankai form. It is a rapier with a German-style wire hilt. It is also very hard to break, contrary to its appearance. It does however, speed Tsubine up so to speak.
(This attack nobody but Tsubine knows about)
Semper Excelsius (Always Higher): Tsubine drops whatever weapon form he has in his hand. It phases through the ground, like Senbonzakura Kageyoshi. The area around Tsubine turns dark, like Senkei. Then, also like Senkei, weapons begin to form in the area around Tsubine and his opponent, hovering in the air. However, unlike Senkei, it contains at least two of every variation of every melee weapon to exist. He can call a weapon to his hand with his mind. It is the true form of his Zanpakutou, as it actually mimics enemy weapons. It actually comprehends what the enemy's Zanpakutou is capable of but does not copy its powers, but rather suggests a better weapon to fight it.
[Tsubine does not know he is a vizard so to speak. He knows he has gone through hollowfication, but has never confronted his inner hollow.]
Cero (Sero; Japanese for "hollow flash," Spanish for "zero", "Doom Blast" in the Viz translation) is a form of attack used by Menos, Arrancar and Vizard. It consists of firing a blast of concentrated spirit energy at the target. While in most cases it is fired from the mouth, some Arrancar and Vizard are capable of firing Cero from their hands, fingers and other parts of their bodies. The power, force, speed, color, and blast area of the cero is dependent on the strength of the user (i. e. the stronger the user the stronger the attack), and there are some Arrancar and Vizard who have come up with their own variation. His are completely white.
Bala: Able to condense her spiritual energy into a hardened form and than shot it out of her palm which it is weaker but faster than Cero. The technique hardens the user's spiritual pressure and fires it like a bullet from their fist.
Mask Shielding: Bodily harm can seemingly be ignored while wearing their masks.
Enhanced Speed: Tsubine is now much faster than before and his flash steps now sound like that of a Sonido instead of a normal flash step.
Enhanced Stamina: Tsubine can take damage and just shrug it off almost completely ignoring it.
Enhanced Strength: Tsubine is much stronger than Before
Power Augmentation: with the acquisition of the mask via the subjugation of ones inner Hollow. A vizard gains access to a additional and separate source of power, in addition to the Shinigami powers one already possesses. The accumulation of both powers together greatly augments the powers of the vizard beyond what a Shinigami or Hollow alone would be capable of.
Aura Sense: Is able to see the Aura of his friends or Enemy's this helping him spot people through trees and from afar.
Purification Cero: A solid white version of the Cero Oscuras.
Light Oblivion: Tsubine opens his mouth to fire a very intense light that will blind most people temporarily, but some permanently.
Cero Spike: Tsubine goes and grabs his opponent by the forehead and fires multiple small Purification Ceros until one passes through their head.
Hollow form: Unknown
Hollow mask: .
Resurrección:
Resurrección Release:
"Kagayakashii Shinjitsu, Patrón de Illuminatus" (Literally: Glorious Truth, Master of the Enlightened")
Resurrección Appearance:
Tsubine becomes a humanoid version of pure terror. He has a massive eyeball with unknown powers and his entire body is either a dark yellow skeleton-like fragment or a fire-like plasma.
Resurrección Abilities:
With Tsubine's abilities based on the Illuminati, he has five elements that he has control of. Each one is evenly powered between one another, with only Fulgente being the stronger.
Mondo (Earth): In this mode, Tsubine is slower, but he can take more damage without having a srcatch. He also can negate some earth-based attacks. His only offensive moves are kicks and punches, other than his Cero and Bala.
Soffiare (Air): In this mode, Tsubine is much faster and is actually as fast, or faster than Yoruichi. He can also move his body more, seing as the air between his body parts can expand. He can also extend his claws/hands and impale an enemy.
Fuoco (Fire): In this mode, his defense is sacrificed and speed increased, but mainly his attacks are strengthened. In this form, he forms his hands as blades and they are superheated. Also, he can extend his arms to an extent, as the fire must stay together.
Diluviare (Water): This is his balanced form. With his abilities balanced, Tsubine can easily revive himself, as he is not straining himself too much. This is the one form where Tsubine actually has no pure offensive move.
Fulgente (Light): This is his strongest form. Taking from what "Illuminati" means, Tsubine becomes pure white for the "skeletal fragments" and a corsing blue for the "fire". In this form, Tsubine can do everything in the above forms. However, this must be the first and only form Tsubine can go in, and it makes him lose his mask afterwards and limits his Bankai.
Background:
Born in 1172 in modern-day Pripyat, Ukraine to a high-ranking noble family, Tsubine von Zarkonheinz was not the Prince Charming of this story. Taught at a very young age how to kill, Tsubine was chosen to represent his area in the upcoming Crusade. When he was only fifteen, a group of bandits kidnapped his younger sister, Ana. Tsubine took off after them, armed with a sabre. He caught up with them and savagely tortured them, cutting them into little bits. Legend says he came back, his little sister in shock behind him on his horse, covered in so much blood, there wasn't a bit of his body that was not crimson. What is known is that his sister never spoke a word after that, and Tsubine never mentions the incident.
When he was eighteen, he set off to join the Pope's army and joined with nearby Templar Knights. When he joined the main force, he was under the command of Robert de Sable. They marched into Jerusalem by the time he was twenty. By that time, most of the people in the massive caravan were dead due to starvation or disease. Tsubine arrived in Jerusalem in time to see the Ark of the Covenant being removed. He was with Robert de Sable when an Hashashin attacked them. Nobody was harmed, but the Templars there knew of the Hashashin threat now.
Within a few weeks, Tsubine was transferred to nearby Acre, the main base for the Crusades. There, the same Hashashin attacked a Templar there. However, on the way to Masayaf, the suspected base of the Hashashins, Tsubine was silently murdered by an unknown assailant.
Rebirth
While he spent little time dead in the human world, he spent a good bit of time in the Close Districts. He arrived in District Three and was raised by a sub-subsection of the Kuchiki household. In a rare occasion, Tsubine met the young Byakuya Kuchiki and Ginrei Kuchiki. By the time that Byakuya would be the new Sixth Division Captain, Tsubine was already in the Soul Reaper academy. By the time of his third year, many of the divisions were looking at Tsubine, as it was unknown what he excelled the most at.
When he graduated, Tsubine was sent to the Thirteenth Division, as the third seat. He looked up to lieutenant Kaien Shiba out of anyone there other than Byakuya. When Tsubine learned Shikai, he trained with Kaien daily and eventually made his own version of Nejibana with his Zanpakutou's shapeshifting ability.
When Kaien was killed, Tsubine was the first person the Captains looked at for Kaien's replacement. He took the position and stayed there until a fateful day.
Trials and Tribulations
Tsubine was thought to be having a relationship with Captain Soi Fon. It was later proven true when an unknown person was able to use his Zanpakutou's ability to broadcast the image across the Soul Society. Rumors went around that the two were to be engaged. This was proven false on one faithful day...
Two swords clashed early one morning on Sōkyoku hill. On one end was the Captain of the Second Division and the other was the Lieutenant of the Thirteenth. Nobody but Tsubine and Soi Fong know of what started the fight, but everyone there remembers it. The fight brought out Soi Fong's Bankai and Tsubine was still in his shikai. After almost being killed by one strike of her Bankai, Tsubine released his Bankai, slicing her bankai off of her in a single swing. There were seven-hundred people that witnessed that battle. In a single swing, Tsubine had killed his fiance`.
Now the Second Division's captain, Tsubine took pride in his job. When he met Ichigo Kurosaki and the others, he fought Yoruichi Shihouin. But he was unable to beat her, though it is rumored that he held back, not wanting a repeat of his nightmares.
By the time of the Espada's attacks on the Fake Karakura Town, Tsubine had achieved seven alternate forms. He fought Barragan Luisenbarn. During the fight, Barragan used his Respira to disintegrate a form. This form was a large mace on a thin, yet extremely strong, string controlled by a rectangular handle. The form has yet to be able to be used again, suggesting that it is forever gone. Briefly, he used his hollow mask and sliced Barragan in half. Luckily, nobody has seen this.
Due to captain's spots opening, Tsubine was briefly transferred to the Fifth Division. When the captain he replaced was killed in battle, Tsubine returned to the Second Division, where he is today. Also, he is the only person in the Soul Society that can sing "The Major-General's Song", "The Elements" and "Tchaikovsky and Other Russians" flawlessly.
