Boredom drives you insane!

[Roiben Masuno-Ryu]

Roiben Tsuihou, captain of the 9th division, was near the entrance gate, having just gotten back from the rukongai districts. After he finished his daily captain paperwork, he got bored so he decided to help the shinigami out on patrol. Being a captain, patrol duty barely made him break a sweat. The thieves were slow to him, and the hollow were weak, not even wothy of facing his zanpakuto.

Now what was he gonna do? He still had a few hours before he needed to return to his quarters, and had nothing to do. He considered going to Hueco Mundo and battling some arrancar on his down time, but he figured that wouldn't be the best thing to do right now. The soul society was still rebuilding it's army, and provoking the arrancar army would be a bad idea. Maybe he'd stop by Kurotsuchi's office, that freak might be able to help him cure his boredom.

The Sound of feet hitting the pavement, the ground of the Gotei 13, a man stood tall and straight. Blond hair blowing in the breeze and a shinigami's robe that reached the floor, a sword lie next to him in his belt. Captain's robes falling from his shoulders and the symbol of the Captain Commander, the 1st Squad Captain. Everyone around him was in hushed silence for a little bit and then letting out a little smile some of the kids ran up to him.

"Kohaku-Senpai!!" They all yelled as they came up and hugged him tightly.

"Hello Little ones." He replied to them as he stopped.

Looking toward the right he spotted a figure that he knew to be one of the Captain's of the Gotei 13, it was Roiben Tsuihou, the 9th Squad Captain.

"I have buiness to attend to, excuse me."

The kids all backed away as Kohaku started to walk over toward Roiben, all of them waving. The Gotei 13 was rebuilding its army, something was lurking just around the corner though. The Captain's knew about it but none of the citizens of Soul Society knew. There was a big battle brewing between the Demons and the Hollow's. Everyone was training, getting ready for the fight to come.

Roiben sensed the familiar reiatsu of the captain-commander approaching him. He wondered what a man of such rank was doing around here. Maybe he'd gotten bored, too. Roiben turned around, and, with a smile on his face, approached the captain commander.

"Hey there Kohaku, whats a man of your status doing walking among us simple people?"

Roiben never was much someone to use honorifics when addressing people, it was too formal for him, not even liking being called Roiben Taichou by his own squad. Still, he really was curious as to why the captain-commander was out and about. He supposed it had something to do with the crowd of waving, cheering kids behind him. Hell, he wasn't as old as Yamamoto was, so he didnt need to take his daily naps like Yamamoto probably did. Suppose he needs to do something with his freetime, which, to Roiben, doesn't seem like there would be much of.

the 7th devision captian reiko sato wasnt haveing a very good day.
Her very long white hair was all tied up very delicate to go with her delicate porsolin doll look. She carried a little girl in her arms. A man was following her. "give me back my daughter" he growled "captian or no captian *hic* ill kill ya if you dont give me my daughter" he growled. Reiko snapped around "you will will you huh!" she said her voice didnt raise it was just soft but sounded harsh. "i would liek to see you try!" she added "your too weak" she added "you dont deserve to be even looking after this child your drunk and you was trying to sell your own daughter off for alchole" she said and put the girl down who hid behind reiko and grabbed her leg. "cant you see your own daughter is scared of you" she said "im taking her back to her mother" she said not once did she rase her voice.
He wabbled a little bit. and looked at reiko "fine but *hic* you ow me sake!" he rawed. "i ow you nothing you need sleep and water" she said. Reiko turned picking up the girl when the man slapped her arse. She flicked her foot up and kicked him in the face hard enought to knock him out not do any seriouse damage. "now little one lets find your mummy" she said The girl nodded. Reiko then noticed the 1st devision captian and the 9th devsion she nodded at them both as in recognition. The girls eyes closed slightly and nodded off in reikos arms.
"hello" Reiko said walking over to them both. "heck tick day huh?" she asked them both.

"Yes it is, Yuna, Yes it is. That guy always bugs the people around here, never trust him, and nice form with the kick by the way." He chuckled.

Kohaku wasn't like Yama, he wasn't serious all of the time and knew that sometimes things just needed a little bit of fun added to them in order to survive, he didn't like the way Yama took things, always so serious. So that's what he had changed, it was no longer like that, is what he knew.

"Well what's a man of your status doing here too Roiben? I have the same needs as everyone else, i just wanted some air from everything that was happening around at the moment, ecspecially with that thing on earth." He stated.

He knew they knew what he was talking about, the war between the demons and the hollows, in a matter of time it might be effecting them too, and it already was, the more they fought inside earth, the more Shinigami needed to be there.

The thing Roiben loved about this captain-commander...he was someone Roiben could relate to. They had similar, easy going personalities, unlike old man yama.

"Well, im just out here trying to find something to do, things get boring as hell around here when we're not in wars."

It wasn't like they wern't in a war now...he was perfectly aware of what was going on. Still, he said it like that because, right now, they technically wern't involved. Just stregnthening their armies so that when they time came, they could handle themselves. He wasn't too worried about the war, though, he didn't figure it would be too difficult. He looked at Reiko and smiled.

"Way to handle the drunk Reiko. Rukongai seems to have too much of those, even more so than in the past. Seems like a real problem, because thats were our recruits come from."

[Yuna]

"yea that guys trouble" reiko said "they should set up some alchole abuse thing around here.... for those viloent drunks to make them at least cut down ont here alchole intake" she said her face not changeing one bit as she spoke.

A woman looked at reiko and ran over to her "thank you" she said Reiko looked at her "oh no problem" she said and handed her the child. "if that guy givs ya anymore trouble just tell me ok... i hate it when a perant or perants treat there children like trash" she added. The woman smiled at Reiko warmly Reiko gave a small nod and watched her walk off. She glanced at the still uncontiouse drunk guy. She shook her head slightly.

"anything exciting happerning?" Reiko asked them both.

"Nothing is happening at the moment, but remember be ready for anything, you both know what is to come, you can feel it." He whispered.

Turning around he then started to walk away motioning for them to come with him.

"Either way, a Captain's meeting is in order." He smiled brightly and then looked back at them both. "Ya coming?" He asked.

Turning around as his Captain's cloak dangled from his broad shoulders as he began to walk, his sword had been gone from his person for awhile, though to materilze it was a simple matter.

"Round up the other Captain's if you two would please, then meet me at the meeting room." He stated.

He was there then gone as he used flash step to go away in a couple of seconds, his reaitsu faded.
