The Sounds of Fall

[Ravana]

It was just another usual fall day. The wind was blowing and the leaves were all different shades. Suddenly, a particularly strong gust of wind blew across the trees, making a few of the trees drop their dieing leaves. Walking up along the concrete path, Karei had her hands in her pockets and a scarf around her neck. Although she was in a relativly good mood, she did have a hint of saddness on her face. The reason was because of her connection to nature through her Zanpaktou's spirit which made her fell a little sad for the dieing of the trees. "Jeesh, can't you keep a lid on your emotions girl, they'll be comming back to life next spring" she said seemingly to herself, but it was directed towards her zanpaktou's spirit. As she continued to walk she came upon a bench, and decided to sit down, sighing as she did "Hmm, fall's ok, but I much prefer summer, I mean, no one calls you a freak if you go out in a bikini during the summer" she said jokingly to herself.

Fall wasn't Garrie's favorite part of the year by any means. It was always so cold and it brought memories of the many lonely years that had past to mind. He couldn't help but think of how his wife and daughter were inexplictantly taken from him. Tears welded in his eyes as he sat in the leafless tree that grew in the center of the park, but he's wipe them away with his arm bands before they could stain his face.

He hadn't noticed the you woman who had wandered into the park long after he had and he had no desire to ruin her day once he had seen her. Simply just thinking to himself was all he felt like doing at that moment in time.

Being a vizard, Karei was able to sense that Garrie was there, but didn't acknowledge him just yet. Smiling a bit to herself, she decided it was time "Hmm, so, mind telling me what you're doing up there stalker, or do I have to come up there?" she asked with a slight giggle. She could sense that the male wasn't there to hurt her, so she decided that she should have a little fun with him. "Although maybe you'd prefer me to come up there" she said seductivly, before bursting out laughing. She couldn't remember the last time she had used that tone when she wasn't drunk, and it always made her laugh.

For a moment Garrie said nothing and only looked down at the woman. He didn't want either to happen but he figured answering her was the most logical thing to do.
"If I be the stalker would you ming telling me why it is that YOU came here long after I did?" A bit of his master's attitude shone threw at that point though he hadn't realise it. Rude or not it didn't change the fact that he was annoyed with this girls rash behavior toward a compleat stranger.

Karei sighed a bit "Jeesh, are you dence or something, I was joking!" she yelled up at the trees to where the man was, eventhough she could not see him yet. She then adopted a pouty face "Come on, don't you know how to treat a lady, I just wanted to start up a conversation" she said, pointing at the place where the man was, as if to accuse him of something. She then had an idea for a joke, and with the help of her zanpaktou's spirit, she made the branch shake just enough to make the man lose his balance "Heh, let's see him deal with that" she said to herself.

Using his neko youkai reflexes Garrie landed on his feet and the palm of one hand and looked at the woman's sword.
"Tricks aren't going to lighten the mood miss." He said standing up, not bothering to dust himself off. "I know all about those kinds of swords and the powers you inevitably posses simply by owning one." His voice was smooth and calm and his eyes showed no emotion. "Forgive me if I've offended you, but it isn't wise to interupt people when they aren't physically setting invitation for conversation, but if that is what you desire, the I shall speak with you."

[Ravana]

At first Karei was stunned by the mans clothing, or lack there of "U....uh, I'm sorry, I just..." she said, trailing off. She then quickly shook her head to snap back to reality. "I mean, it's just, you know, I thought that you might want some company" she said. However, she still wasn't able to stop looking at the man "So, aren't you cold, I mean, you're wearing next to nothing." She then took off her scarf and handed it to the man "Here, it may not be much, but it might make you a little warmer" she ssaid with a smile.

Holding up his hand he shook his head no.
"Thank you for your concer miss but a scarf will do me no good." He pulled on the mask that went from below his nose and down to his collar bone. "It's an area that's pretty well covered. Besides, this weather bothers me not. Durin my many years of training I've become use to strong heat and unforgiving coldness."
Garrie bowed slightly, his hand pulled into his chizzled abs.
"My name is Garrie Okitashi, of the neko tribe. I'm sure it is an honor to meet you."

[Ravana]

Karei giggled a bit at Garrie's formal introduction "Well I'm Karei Otome, and I'm a vizard" she said in her introduction. She then looked at the man more closely, noticing the cat ears "Oh, you mean literally neko, wow" she said, still looking at his cat ears. "So, if I may ask, what are you doing here?" she asked, looking back down at the man. Now that she was able to take a real look over the man, she was able to look at him without any sort of awe. She also noticed that the man was in very good shape, and was glad that he wasn't still angry with her, as she didn't want to fight him.

Falling silent for a moment he reflected on his past. How going to hell cause his wife to leave him, taking his only daughter with her. How Inuyami had brought him to this world to escape the war between their two royal clans seeing as they were both the last born of royal blood in their clans.
After a while Garrie's thoughts carried him to the current moment and he shook the haze from his head.
"I fallowed a friend, my master, to this world to escape wars and blood shed." He began to explain. "She is Inu, where I am Neko and out families had been fighting for far too long. We brought an end to the fights only by leaving and now that we are here, we've not found the desire to return."
He took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment then exhaled and looked at the vizard.
"And you? May I ask as to why you've come to this world apposed to the Seireitei or Heoncho Mundo?"

Karei looked at Garrie for a bit before replying "Well, actually, I have never been to the serieti, as I became a vizard here in the human world" she said, looking around at the trees for a second. "But as for Hueco mundo, I will never live where thoes monsters live" she said with hate in her voice. This was because of her past, and the hollow that had destroyed her village when she was alive. She then looked back at Garrie, returning to her usual happy look "So, whos' this Inu person?" she asked in a much nicer tone.
