Personality: Karei is almost a typical young Female in her mid 20's, the only difference being, she's a vizard. She hates authority, has a flirtatous side, and enjoies drinking sake. Despite this usual rebelious side, she can be a caring figure, somewhat like an older sister. She has helped out some of the other vizards by being a caring figure for them. Another side to her is her flirtatous side. Although she enjoies flirting, and even dresses somewhat provocativle, (bra showing and wearing a g-string) she hates it when men try to take advantage of her. This will usualy end up in her kicking their ass.
Appearance:
History: Born back in the feudal era in Japan, Karei was pretty much just an average young girl. She helped out her father in his shop, helped her mother wash their clothes, and hung out with her friends. Although not wealthy by a long shot, she was happy. As she grew older, Karei became more indapendant and defiant. She still helped out her parrents, having become the head waitress in her fathers shop, but at nights she would go out drinking. She also had another hobby, sword fighting. She had joined one of the few dojo's that actualy accepet girls, and quickly became one of the top students.
During one of the nights when she had gone out drinking, something terrible befell her town. During the night, an Oni, as they called it, had attacked and killed many of the villagers. Among the dead were her parents. Enraged, she took her training katana and went out to look for the demon. Unbenounced to her, the demon was actualy a hollow. After finding the hollow, Karei attempted to strike it down, only to have her training katana smashed to bits. Without much dificulty, the hollow easily defeated her, leaving her mortaly wounded.
As she laied there dieing, thoughts of her dead family and how she was too weak to save anyone filled her mind. After her death, due to the thoughts and feelings she was left with, her soul chail quickly eroded. As she began the hollowification process, she began to be terrifyed by the thought of becoming a monster like the one that had killed her parents. Due to sheer force of will, she was able to resist the usual holloification process, so her mask began to form first. With a sheer burst of reatisu brought around by despiration, she was able to remove the mask, effectivly becoming a vizard.
After her transformation, she was constantly switching between her hollow and human form, having dificulty controling it on her own. After a few years of hiding away from all humans, she was discovered by Kisuke Urahara. Having just invented the hogyoku, and knowing only a bit about it's powers, he used it's powers to try to help out the young girl. With Urahara's help, she was able to gain control over her inner hollow. As she lived through different time periods, she quickly adapts to each and is "up to date" with current trends and what not.
Vizard Powers: Like most other vizards, Karei's vizard mask enhances her strength and speed. It also allows her to use her zanpaktou's powers with more ease.
Hollow Mask:
Hollow Form: In her hollow form, Karei's entire body became covered in white bone-like armor. Her hand's were replaced by a set of claws, and her dark pink was visable from behind her mask. Her hair also grew a bit longer.
Zanpaktou Name: Alura Kusabana
Zanpaktou Spirit:
Sealed Zanpaktou: In it's sealed form, Karei's Zanpaktou takes the shape of a simple katana with a bambo sheath and hilt. The bambo has a reddish hue to it, as well as the sguard. The blade is also curved a bit more than a usual.
Shikai Release Phrase: "Grow from the earth and crush my enemies, Alura Kusabana!"
Shikai: In it's shikai, Alura Kusabana takes the form of a rose stem whip. The length of the whip is covered in thorns. Each thorn can secrete a variety of toxic chemicals that can have effects varrying from paralysis to inducing halucinations. At the end of the whip is a closed rose bud. The rosebud can open up to spray a paralyzing pollen or to shoot needle like thorns at her opponent.
Shikai Abilities
Control over vines:
Not only can she use the vines that surround her to ensnare her opponents, but she can also make her own grow out of any type of ground. The vines can be used to trap her opponent or to attack them.
Kaika-hana-Blooming Flower:
Useing one of her whip's poisions, Karei can make flowers begin to bloom from her opponent. These flowers can slow down her opponents and drain them of some of their reatisu. The flowers can also produce a pollen that can temporarily cause her opponent to have a halousination.
Bankai Name: Alura Kaika-kusabana
Bankai: In it's Bankai, Alura Kusabana takes the form of a green longsword. The longsword has thorns and flowers sprouting from it's blade. Each flower can emit a pollen that can paralyze her opponents and each thorn can secrete a various type of poisonous chemical. Karei herself also has a change in appearance. Her clothes are replaced by a skirt and tanktop seemingly made out of flower petals.
Bankai Abilities
Greater Control Over Vines:
Karei can produce many more vines in her Bankai, and can even sprout vines from her being. The vines also become stronger as well as the poisons they can emit.
Hanabira Suto-mu-Petal storm:
Along with the flowers on her sword, Karei can make countless flowers bloom from her body. Once they bloom, the petals fall off and proceed to surround her opponent. Each petal is razor sharp and capable of inflicting sever damage. If she closes her hand into a fist she can make all the petals converge in upon her opponent, lacerating them.
Improved Kaika-hana:
In her bankai, Karei can use her Kaika-hana with much greater power. She can make more flowers bloom and increase the speed at which they blood. The pollen they release can also cause greater and longer lasting halousinations.
Final Form: Megami no Supuringu-Goddess of Spring
To enter this form, Karei must be wearing her hollow mask. Her appearance becomes that of her Zanpaktou's spirit, a girl who's upper body is growing out of a large flower. In this final form, she has no sword, but she has thorny vines and flowers growing out of her body. She uses the vines like tendrils to grab and attack her opponents. The flowers can emit a special pollen that blinds her opponent and temporarily paralyzes them. The poisons that are emmited from the thorns are also much more potent. She can also use an improved form of her Hanabira Suto-mu.

Karei was walking in the park, enjoying the beautiful day. Because of her Zanpaktou's spirit, she had a close feeling to that of nature around her. "Mmm, I just love days like this, just the smell of all the flowers is heavenly" she said to herself, smiling a bit. As she continued walking, she came upon a bunch of guys who were fooling around and stepping on some flowers. Angrily, she walked up to them and tapped one of them on the shoulder "Excuse me, but I suggest you watch where you'r stepping if I were you" she said in a cold tone. One of the guy's laughed and walked up to her "Heh, what do we have here, looks like this bitch is looking for trouble." At hearing the word bitch, she began to clentch her fists as she began to look angry "What was that?" she asked in an angry tone. At hearing her question, one of the guys grabbed her by the shoulder "Heh, what are you gonna... Argh" He was cut off as Karei punched him in the solarplexus and grabbed his arm, tossing him into the ground. Seeing their friend being beaten, the other two guys rushed at her, only to be beaten just like the first. Walking away she dusted herself off "Next time, I won't hesitate to kill you" she said before walking away.
