The new arrival

Niriel entered the captain's quarters in division 4, and seeing the huge stack of papers on the captain's desk she slumped her shoulders. She had just been promoted to vice captain of squad 4 after a very long interview with the head of soul society.
She moved to the couch by the wall and fell down facing the ceiling she noticed the worn down beams holding it up. It was cleaned regularly since this was also a hospital.
"I suppose I should introduce myself to them" She said quietly to the lamp beside the couch. She sood up straightening her dwhite chinese dress so that no wrinkles showed.

[Ravana]

Hearing about the newly appointed captain, Ravana had decided to come and welcome her, being a captain himself. As he walked down the halls of the 4th division, he felt slightly lost. Although each division was set up similarly, there were still enough differences to make it hard to find your way around. As he rounded a corner, Ravana saw an indication that he was now at the captain's office and sighed "Finally, damn, this place is like a maze" he said to himself. He then walked into the captains office, smiling as he did so. "Why hello there Niriel, I am Ravana captain of squad 8, and I'm here to congratulate you on your promotion" he said in his usual kind tone. As always, Ravana was a very friendly person, despite being a captain; however, when it came to work, he was very serious.

Seeing Ravana enter, Niriel was glad she had gotten up just before. She didn't want to see lazy laying down like that. She smiled back as Ravana greeted, and congratulated her.
"Oh i'm not sure I should be accepting congratulations just yet, I havn't done anything yet. I'm sure that you have accomplished much more than I have."
Ravana, captain of squad 8, he seemed nice, and capable in a fight. She always liked seeing other shinigami's zanpukto(uh i forgot how to spell dont hurt me lol). Mabye when she knew him better she could ask for a demonstration.
She bowed saying, " I hope i can be of help, don't hesitate to ask me if you need anything."

[Ravana]

Ravana smiled at Niriel "Oh no, of course you deserve congratulations, why, it's not every day that you become a captain." As he said this, Ravana walked into the office, wanting to learn more about the new captain. He then noticed her looking at his two Zanpaktous and smiled "Ah, you seem interested in my Zanpaktou, or should I say Zanpaktous" he said. He then took the two sheathed swords from under his belt and showed them both to Niriel "You see, my Zanpaktou's are one of a kind, as each sword has it's own spirit" he said. He was very proud of his Zanpaktous, not only because of how rare they were, but also because of their power.

"Dual zanpuktou? That is very interesting. I wonder if it is harder to speak with 2 swords?"
Niriel admired the quality of his swords from a respectful distance. After all zanpaktou were the reflection of their wielder's soul. Touching another's sword was considered disrespectful.
She asked, "You must have a strong bond with your swords since you're a captain, if you don't mind...i would very much like to see how strong your bond is sometime."
Niriel moved behind her desk and sighed again looking at the large stack of forms. Thinking twice, "I think i'll go introduce myself to the other captains." Looking to Ravana, " I'd enjoy it very much if you would accompany me, I'll admit I am a little nervous."

[Ravana]

Ravana smiled as Niriel complemented his Zanpaktous, "Yeah, the two can give me a hard time, but i wouldn't trade them for the world" he said as he returned his Zanpaktou's to under his belt. He then grinned "Why, of course, I wouldn't mind showing you their power, I'm sure they would love the chance to show off" He said with a smile as he patted the hilts of both his Zanpaktou. Ravana had noticed the large stack of papers on the others captains desk, and laughed a bit, expecting the reaction she gave. "Sure, why not, I could use something to do."

Niriel exited the division 4 building, and started heading in the direction of squad 11 barracks.
