Surf's Up! (Open)

Kyle was surprised for a second. she had given her name, made a threat, smirked then left. She was a funny one but Kyle liked that sort of girl. He started to paddle after her. "hey wait up" he said as he started paddling faster so that he could catch up to her. "How about we go grab something to eat, it's around 12 o'clock right now, my treat" kyle said with a smile as he made his offer.

Sitting back on her board she gave a sort of sigh. It wasn't a sigh of annoyance with him, but with the fact that she hadn't noticed, until just now, how hungery she really was. Rolling her shoulders into a shrug she turned at looked at him as the gap between the two of them closed again.

"Sure, why not. Sounds like a decent plan." Her responce sounded unamused and slightly vexed but really she was only unhappy at the sudden growling her stomach was making. "Where did you have in mind?"

"there's a hotdog stand not to far from here. We can pretty much get there by walking." kyle said. It was a good shop and his cousin ran it so he could get them for free. of course he didn't say this. No need to brag about who you know. But then again there wasn't really mucht o brag about. "does that sound good to you?"

"Whatever," shugging again she laid back on her board and began to paddle the last few feet before she could touch the soft sand with her feel, "it sounds good to me and I'm not buying so I'm not going to be picky." The pair of surfers made it to the beach not long after that.

"I'm going to go shower off, spray the salt off my board and change. I'll be back in a few minutes." She headed off towards the showers and after changing and spraying her board down she returned. "Just got to put this up and we can go."

A small hut of to the left of the life guard office was vissably locked but she approched it anyway. It had been an old storage shed for the guards equiptment but since the trn of the decade they had been using their offices. Mimi gave the key lock a swift tug and the lock came open. She tossed her board on the floor inside, closed and relocked the door and walked away.

"Ready?" She asked as if nothing had happened.

Kyle had gotten to the showers and decided to take one as well. He hated the feeling when he would dry off it was still there.he came backl outside and waited for her. He went in after and came out before her so it was almost like he never even moved..

"yeah it's just down the street over here" kyle said as he started to walk in that direction. The only thing that was different was now Kyle was wearing a pair of sandals. He made his way down the beach and came to the Hotdog shop. He walked in adn went up to the counter. "I would like two hotdogs please." kyles aid.

One of the employees noticed him and just fixed the usual. "And what about your friend" he asked. Kyle looked over at mimi "What would you like?"

"Uhm..." She said with a long pause, her stomach gurgled loudly as if it was a bear in an empty cave. "Hehe," a bit of a nervous laugh passed her rose pink lips and she continued to read. "I think I'll have your meal option but instead of onion rings I'd like fries and make the drink a Mountain Dew. Oh do you have a fresh bottle of ketchup too?" Her eyes wided with the word 'ketchup' and she had the most life or death serious look on her face. "I'm going to need a whole new, unopened. one." She said in a dier tone.

Kyle got there order from the employee and took it to their seats. He sat down and began to eat.

Sitting down across from Kyle, Mimi began to cover her hotdog with ketchup, opened her soda and poored the ketchup all over the fries. She began to eat and then stoped, with her mouth full of food and said,

"Fanf for the foof"

Kyle ate his food pretty quickly. It wasn't that much, well at least for him. He is use to eating large amounts of food and this was nothing. In fact this was a light snack. He didn't usually eat much in public because he didn't like people's eyes on him all the time. "Is it good Mimi?"

Nodding with approval, Mimi whipped the extra ketchup from her face with the back of her hand and then onto her pants.

"Very good, thanks again." She said dipping a fry slowly in and out of a puddle of ketchup before popping it into her mouth. "Never been here, but it's not a bad place."

"Yeah my cousin owns a few of these places so I pretty much eat here for free. Sign but sometimes I wish that he would open a restaurant so I could eat there." Kyle just watched for a little while. He didn't really know what to talk about. He wasn't the type to ask too many questions and he couldn't think of a better topic. Kyle to a surprise to most actually lives on his own. He was adopted into a very wealthy family and has a mansion that only him and a few maids and butler's live in. He just recently moved back in because he didn't like paying rent at his apartment. "So where would you like to go after this?"

With a shrug Mimi stood up and streched her back. Her short shirt lifted to just under her rib cage and when she relaxed her mid rift dissapeared back under it's loose fitting form.

"I don't make plans... not my style." She said running a hand threw her wavy brunette hair. It fell behind her softly and framed her face.

"How about we head back to my place for a little while" Kyle said. his house wasn't far from here and there were many things to do there. It was a big place which had an in door swimming pool, bowling alley and many other things. "It's not too far from here and there's plenty to do there"

Her hand moved down to her pocket for a moment then she shook her head.

"Sure," she finally said casually, "sounds like a plan." Picking up her plastic basket and threw away her garbage. Returning to the table where she and Kyle had eatten their lunch she motioned to the door. "On y' va?" Her words where quick and she knew he wouldn't understand so she repeated in english. "Shall we go?"
