Full Name: Orihime Inoue
Alias: ’Woman’ (Ulquiorra‘s name for her I suppose! xD) Hime-chan or Inoue-chan (Not really sure if she has an alias! LOL!)
Age: 15-16 (Approximately, but her age might alter at a later time…)
Date of Birth: September 3rd
Blood type: B
Gender: Female
Current Residence: Karakura Town
Family: Brother-Sora Inoue (Deceased)
Weapons: None, as far as I know, besides her Shun-Shun Rikka‘s only offensive attack… She’s mostly a Pacifist who hates violence!
Personality: Orihime is friendly, humorous in her own way, sensitive, and kind. She comes off as naive and rather clueless, which is at odds with her exceptionally high marks in school. Apparently, she is hopeless when it comes to technology. One of the members of the Handicrafts' Club remarks that she is not smart enough to use a cell phone, which is why she does not have one. Additionally, according to Tatsuki, Orihime has the fighting skill of a black belt.
She cooks and eats strange food at home, although she also likes some normal food. Aside from Rangiku Matsumoto and possibly Tessai Tsukabishi, no one shares Orihime's tastes. Her favorite food is red bean paste and she likes putting butter on sweet potatoes. (So, Lots of people do! Big deal! That’s not strange at all! xD)
Orihime has a tendency to rush into situations without thinking, sometimes leading to embarrassing consequences. At one point, the schoolgirls ask Rukia if she has feelings for Ichigo. When Rukia denies any such thing, Orihime is disappointed that Rukia does not share her sentiments, because if she had, then it would be two girls against one boy and therefore the girls "team" would win, which makes no sense. She also tends to have an overactive imagination and gets carried away thinking of implausible scenarios, such as portraying herself as a futuristic and apparently highly destructive robot in an assignment asking, "How do you see yourself in the future?" when the question refers to what occupation one wishes or believes they will have.
She’s also demonstrated that she is perceptive, mostly when it comes to Ichigo Kurosaki. She has a crush on Ichigo and later falls in love with him. (In both the manga and anime) Her feelings only become more evident as time goes on. She has revealed these feelings both to Rangiku Matsumoto and to Ichigo himself, though he was asleep at the time. She also has the uncanny ability to detect Ichigo by scent and sense his Spiritual Pressure, even when masked by the Vizard. Through her expanding role, Orihime has become a more complex character than her earlier archetype suggested; where Orihime was happier and more klutzy towards the start… while later, dealing with her feelings of inadequacy and inner turmoil...
Physical Appearance: Orihime Inoue has long orange-brown hair which she wears in bangs behind her ears and with hairpins. She does not remove her hairpins, except to sleep, as they are worn in memory of her brother; while her hair is worn long in honor of the promise Tatsuki Arisawa once made to protect her. Her large breasts are occasionally made the subject of jokes; one time, while eating lunch with Rukia, Tatsuki and some other school girls, they wondered why she wasn’t the size of a blimp. One girl commented that "her boobs probably absorbed most of the calories." She also has an amazingly hard head, which has injured Uryū, Chad and Ichigo. However, the only person who has been able to damage her head has been Yachiru Kusajishi. (Note: Orihime has brown eyes in colored pictures of the manga, but bluish-tinted gray eyes in the anime. I prefer to portray the one with blue-grey eyes! ^^)
Height/Weight: 157 cm (5'2") and she weighs 45 kg (99 lbs. Which in my opinion is insane, even for someone petite! xD)
History: Orihime lives by herself in Karakura Town, and is supported by relatives living elsewhere. Previously, she had lived with her older brother, Sora, who was fifteen years older than her. She and her brother were raised by a drunken father and an unfaithful mother, who always argued and beat their children. It is unknown if her parents are still alive. When Sora turned eighteen, he ran away with Orihime, who was three years old and raised her ever since. For six years, Orihime and Sora lived in harmony despite the fact that Orihime was bullied in school because of her unusual hair color. One day, Sora gave Orihime a set of hairpins. However, Orihime refused to wear them because she said they were childish. On the same day, Sora was wounded in a car accident and died in the Kurosaki clinic. Orihime has worn the hairpins ever since. A year after Sora died, Orihime met Tatsuki who defended her from the bullies. They have been best friends ever since.
Spiritual Abilities: Healing, defense shield and attack… though it’s not quite as effective as the others, due to her reluctant hesitation, which often leads to disaster for poor Tsubaki, her only weapon to ward off any attacks!
Reiatsu: The "six princess-shielding flowers." ~ Shun-Shun Rikka
These six spirits (in forms of fairies) usually emit their powers from Orihime’s will…Her emotions effect the way she uses her powers as well… If she weakens due to hesitation, their powers falter! But if she’s determined and willing… her reiatsu will grow, giving them immaculate strength!
Spiritual Ability/Powers: The Nature of Orihime’s hairpins have been compared to that of a Zanpakuto. Through a various combination of the six fairies, Orihime has the power to deny reality, expressed in the final part of her incantations: "I reject!" This power can be used for attack, defense or healing (depending on the combination). Orihime's mood directly influences the effectiveness of her powers. Feelings such as doubt or worry, makes them weaker, while conviction and determination makes them stronger. At their height, her powers resemble those of a deity in strength… Although she has yet to unlock her true potential as of yet; maybe she’s incapable of releasing them because the time isn’t right! (Or something to that effect) Perhaps, she just lacks the ambition to do so on her own… for fear of using them against her friends! (Nakama) This is why she hesitates and her powers have stayed dormant… She has shown what she’s capable of doing from time to time, but she hasn’t even scratched the surface!
RP Sample: Orihime was taking one of her leisure walks 'til she suddenly felt a disturbance with her reiatsu. She wondered what was wrong and then her hairpins sprouted off into sections. This startled her because she thought that they only came out when she called them by their incantations and found it unusual to see them before her after a long period of silence. "What's wrong you guys? I didn't summon you, so why have you-?" Before she could finish, the rude one cut her off, "Be quiet, you stupid girl! We're here 'cuz of you and it's your fault that we feel so useless!" Tsubaki pointed accusingly; folding his arms in annoyance, while the leader Shun'o, spoke up to clear up any misinterpretations that may have been taken the wrong way. "Uh well… What he means to say is, that we couldn't help but notice that you haven't progressed very much with your training lately and we're getting kinda worried! That's all..." she smiled without a care as she went on, "Anyway... All we wanna know is what's holding you back! We can't be at our best unless your willing to help us without hesitation... and provide us with the energy we need to help protect you." Then Lily interjected, "Yeah, what Shun'o said! Like what's the deal anyway? We know you're capable of so much potential Hime-chan! You just have to get in touch with your hidden powers and draw them to the surface!" she chided enthusiastically, throwing her arms up in a swooping motion.
Orihime blinked in confusion when the three spoke at her, but finally understood what each were trying to say and slowly nodded. "Oh, I see..." she sighed sadly before continuing, "Well, the thing is... I'm not really sure... what I'm capable of... as of yet! I mean, what if these powers of mine... are used for a negative purpose!? What if I... can never learn to control them!? I'm really no use to anyone..." she looked down shamefully. Tsubaki had lost his patience at this point; fed-up with listening to all the nonsense and flew right in her face shouting, "Look you! Don't give me that Pacifist crap! Either you use your powers right or don't bother calling us out at all! I'm sick of being held back 'cuz of your weakness and fear of fighting!" he huffed; thumping her forehead before Shun'o grabbed him by the wing and pulled him back. "Alright, that's enough Tsubaki!" she scolded him with a warning. "Don't you think you're overdoing it a bit?! We're her guardians, remember that! We're supposed to be guiding her, not making her feel worse! Use your head Tsubaki!" The gruff fairy just scoffed at Shun'o's remarks and turned away defiantly with no witty comeback. "You're right... I have been holding back... and I have no excuse for it! Please forgive me... I'm sorry I let you all down... including Hinagiku, Baigon and Ayame as well." Orihime apologized with a small bow and couldn't bear to listen to them any longer, so she dismissed herself without calling them back; leaving the silent three feeling confused and guilty for not speaking up on her behalf when they had the chance. Neither one of them even attempted to follow the poor, depressed girl as she ran off to be by herself to figure things out.
