Personality: Most well known to have an aggressive almost warmongering personality, will do almost anything to weaken himself so that he may have an on par long fight with any opponent weaker or stronger it doesn’t matter to him. During the soul society arc and during the time after this series kenpachi was notably known for going out of his way to find and fight ichigo, to which ichigo immediately started to run away. Although ready and willing to fight if his opponent is at a certain level of incapacity e.g. unable to lift their weapon or suffered a life threatening or disabling wound he will gladly walk off giving them a chance to live and come back stronger to fight again, or just to die where they are. Does not care for paperwork or political situations, all that he expects from his squad is to show a greater amount of strength then any other squad in the gotei 13. Most people see him as a giant war machine but during his days before he joined the goeti squads he was seen showing compassion to one little girl who did not fear him, he named this girl yachiru after the only person he ever admired, this point only adding to the fact that he has hidden emotions deep inside him. During battle his blood lust can get the better of him and he loses control to the point that each consecutive wound he suffers only spurs him on more and more and will only actually stop for consideration when a large amount of wounds or a debilitating wound has been suffered, this has recently been noted in his fight between him and noitora (can’t spell his name). Although it has not been seen or heard he regards yachiru, ikkaku and even yumichika as the closest thing to family he has, this leads to the conclusion that he has certain emotions of compassion and love but not a great amount of liking for them. Although never having seen used them he is assumed to have a basic understanding and control of kidou and shunpo but simply will not use them as he believes these techniques to be weak, along with kendo, but he has been seen using this during his fight with the espada and has also said that some things that yamamoto forced him to learn are actually worthwhile.
Appearance: (what they look like.)
Wearing a normal captains uniform with the exception of his haori, all 11th divison captains have carried the same haori so it has been renowned for being ragged and slightly tattered form all the battles and wounds each consecutive captain has suffered. To weaken himself he has certain objects which kenpachi hopes his enemies will take advantage of. Thses include an eyepatch, which was constructed by the 12th divison to contain his massive spriritual pressure and energy and this also weakens kenpachi to only being able to see using one eye, bells attatched to giant spikes protruding from the top of his head, kenpachi hopes that any opponent he faces can hear them as he moves giving his position away so that the enemy can keep attacking him even when he tries to sneak up on them, also his zanpakuto itself, to reflect kenpachi trying to weaken himself the zanpakuto has the appearance of a slightly elongated katana that has a dull, rusted and chipped blade that could break at any moment, its hilt has changed to be inverted to provide no protection whatsoever to the users hand.
Kenpachi himself is tall and bound in muscles, this enables him to use his powerful legs to run at tornado wind speeds and also to be able to kick with such power as to break bones easily and send anyone kicked by him flying away, this happens during his fight with tousen and komamura. He has a scar down the left side of his face, not much is known about how he got this scar but it is assumed that he got this during a fight possibly with yachiru, this may also explain the reason why he admires the person called yachiru so much as they may have been the only one to defeat him before he joined the gotei 13. His canine teeth when grinning lok more like fangs of a wild animal then of a normal shinigami, this adds to the appearance of him being wild and furious in battle. The pupils of his eyes are smaller then most peoples leading to his gaze being as if he was staring straight through the person.
Zanpakutô Spirit: not much is known of kenpachis zanpakutos spirit apart from a giant skull appearing behind him when he attacks with his full power for a final strike, leading to the conclusion tath his zanpakuto spirit may look like the grim reaper or such like.

Shikai Description: kenpachis zanapkuto is constantly in shikai due to his massive spiritual energy, much like ichigos. It has no known powers or abilities, the only thing known about it is that it has dulled and weakened itself along with kenpachi.

History/Background: Not much is known of kenpachis past. The only notable points that are known about him are that he travelled around the rugonkai districts fighting and killing all the strongest people he could find, one time he took on a group of enemies and only one little girl as left, she was not scared of kenpachi even when he was coated in blood, he named her yachiru and took her with him. Eventually he came to fight ikkaku after ikkaku had rooted him out as the strongest around the district they were both in. After a short battle kenpachi walked away after ikkaku had been injured enough for him to be unable to fight, before he left he told ikkaku to become stronger and try to find kenpachi and kill him again. After a while kenpachi found that the gotei 13 could offer stronger opponents then the ones he had faced before, upon joining he immediately slew the 11th divison captain in single combat claiming the title for his own. This is all that is currently known about kenpachis past.
Roleplay Sample: kenpachi strides through down a stone path laden with small brightly coloured cheery blossom petals, as he continues his walk his arm folded and under his shinigami uniform petals seem to dance around his body. Stopping he grins widely his fang like teeth gleaming in the broken sunbeams creeping through the canopy of the trees, “was you gonna hide back there for that long?” he chuckles and rumbles turning his head to see byakuya kuchiki standing behind him.
“well? You hear to fight or just stare at me and ponder wether you will ever be as strong as me?”, he growls dangerously back at byakuya. Without a word or moments hesitation they both charge eachother their zanpakutos clanging loudly in the otherwise quiet gardens, byakyua shunpos around kenpachi slashing and slicing at him, kenpachi just throws his head back roaring with laughter at byakuyas pathetic little paper cuts, “how about you try one of mine!”, he roars as he bring sdown his zanapkuto in a vertical arc straight infront of him catching byakyua by surprise and slicing down his arm as he dodges the god like blow, “what is this man? A demon? Or just plain lucky?” byakuya thinks to himself as he continues to zip around. Kenpachi sighs audibly smirking, “you know what kuchiki, i hate little rabbits that don;t know how to defend themselves. How about we make this fight more interesting?” byakuya appears infront of kenpachi with a questioning look, kenpachi returns the look with a wide feral grin and a dangerous look in his small pupil, “how about i take on your whole squad?”
